TheScotsman
Always been better on the bigger circuits though.
Firestone1
Great signing !!!! Just been dropped from the national league side and struggling in the elite against young riders. Well done workington  Since when was he dropped by Kent? Still listed in their 1-7 on the BSPA site. Has always scored decent points around Derwent Park so I don't see what the problem is.  Welcome to Workington Simon!

Well done workington Not quite. No longer a Rocket but still a King. As for your main point, the wisdom of replacing 3 points a match with 1 does escape me.
screm
Is it an improvement  Time will tell, but its hardly a big step forward IMO.
torpointfanatic22
Always difficult to replace a 3 pointer for a 3 pointer and see a vast improvement so unlikely to make a huge difference to the Comets. Two changes were needed imo to see any real difference.

Try the 12 other track's in the PL, will he score decent points there, that's what we're short on, that's what we're looking for, without them we are no further forward than we were before?  He hasn't turned a wheel yet so I'll wait and see how thing's pan out, God loves a trier!!
jenga
swapped a 3.05 rider with a sub 3.00 rider. word s fail me...
Shadders
Good to see Simon get fixed up with another side. Never looked comfortable on the tight Rye circuit, or anywhere else I've seen him if I'm honest, bar Peterborough in the first meeting of the season swapped a 3.05 rider with a sub 3.00 rider. word s fail me...1.25 by my calculations

Can't see Lambert improving us much, he seems to have an awkward riding style but will still have more pace than around DP than Mills I think, but away from home not expecting much. Will be interesting to see if he lasts the season.
Cue Ball
No offence to Lambert, but why on earth would you swap Mills for him? When was the last time Simon made it through a season riding for the same team for the whole year?

Will be interesting to see if he lasts the season. I can't believe he lasted this long at Rye. He was getting worse week by week and his confidence was shot to pieces by the end. It's been said he approached Len Silver during the Sheffield home meeting last week and offered to stand down. His non appearance on the victory parade said a lot. Silver has a recent history of tremendous loyalty towards his riders, sometimes to the detriment of the team
skoobie
Mills was getting beat by visiting reserves at home week in week out at home & couldn't even beat Liam Carr (probably the worste reserve in the league) last week so Workington have nothing to loose with this change
comet49
Hopefully a change of environment and a whiff of northern air will bring some improvement. If not more changes might have to be made, other riders need to improve too
skoobie
The hard line is Bach, Howarth & wells have all underperformed this season, any of them 3 should be looking over there shoulder with wells at most risk to go

HadrianDog
No pun intended  How likely is he to come back?  Though defo. delivered methinks. Still has strong links with Alan Hedley, but is I believe now an Workington asset, so regrettably unlikely short of being dropped at Derwent Park.
