From a neutral perspective, very impressed with Jason Garrity and Lewis Blackbird on Friday. Olly Greenwood and Josh Bates didn't disgrace themselves either.

Come come TR, you cant have been very impressed with them - you know they are way out of their depth in the EL :P

But in other unbiased news i agree quite a few of them are really reaping the benefit of the system.

He's a liability at times. A wonderful, entertaining thrill merchant at others. In recent weeks it's been the former.

having watched the crash on you tube, you have to wonder what (if anything) was going on in fishers head

being biased is great as a supporter and at the time it appeared a racing incident,

but it just looks odd, no attempt to avoid at all

Got to agree with that.

Always been a big Fish fan but I've just watched the youtube too and Fish didn't seem to straighten up or hit a bump/rut or anything - just seemed to keep going on a line which could only end in a big contact.

Odd since it was going to hurt him too - but Josh went into the fence at a frightening speed.

Hope he makes a good recovery.

Looking af the crash, can only assume fisher picked up a little extra drive and just utterly miscalculated his line - maybe josh g cornered slightly slower than he anticipated? Ive never seen a crash like thst before tbh, where a rider has just gone full steam into another. Really bizarre.

Hope both riders make speedy recoveries.

Easy for us supporters to say when we are not out there on the bike, making a split decision at the time, possibly affected by poor visibilty through your goggles/tear-offs with pressure on your performance from the terraces!!!

Just saying like!

Is there anybody on here who was stood on that bend and saw the incident, truthfully. Would be interested to hear how they saw it..

I wasn't there, but to me, it looked like Fisher just straightened up and ran into the side of him, but not the usual left side T boning, he sort of ran over his footrest on the blind side, this caused JG to straighten and accelerate into the fence full head on.. first time i've seen that sort of collision.... Definitely no intent from RF..

I was on the third bend when the crash happened. It seemed that Ryan just caught some grip going into middle of turn three and straightened up. It wasnt a major jolt but enough to catch Josh's bike and send both of them to the fence.

i was in the stands. He missed the gate and was trying to power round. it looks like he just lost control (might have been due to extra grip who knows) and then he lost control. There was no intent there. Fisher could have got badly injured himself

Looking at the YouTube clip, It looks as though the air fence is still not secured at the base as it lifted alarmingly again!!

It happens at most if not all tracks when a bike goes straight into the fence like that especially when it punctures. Thank god for the air fence because his injuries wouldve been much more serious.
