Coventry V Birmingham 26th May 2014

Recommended Posts

There's a major flaw in this doubling-up and it needs addressing in the winter - either scrap it, or extend it so that teams in effect have a number of d-u riders to choose from to cover absentees

As far as foreigners are concerned only those fully committed to UK racing, ie with no overlapping commitments, should be allowed

Easier said than done, but it has to be achieved

Well done Bomber. He can score 6 in the elite league on Friday instead of wasting his time practicing for a meeting where he is going to score 2 points max. Sensible rather than loyal IMO

Credit to him for missing the GP practice and riding for Coventry, however, i'm not so sure that he would make the same decision if he was battling for the GP title, or even a top 8 place. Hope he scores well in both meetings.

Looking at B'hams line-up, I cant justify wasting the entrance fee this time round! What an absolute pile of sh#te!

Dont understand why people are praising Harris for riding in this one ? It's a bumper pay day, as opposed to a wasted practice session for tomorrow's GP where he'll struggle to finish ahead of the 'wildcard' as usual! yawn yawn!

Wiziwig is showing this meeting as being on Sky sports tonight!?

Can anyone confirm this?

Would think they have got that wrong as not on program schedule, but is it on BBCwm.

Might be worth checking an hour before the match which is when the streams are listed. It does say 2 stations will be showing it so maybe they are going to feed the Bet365 stream which is scheduled tonight.

BBC WM is always a good listen especially when one gets to see the live streaming too.

Bumper payday? Quick tell the likes of Emil, Greg and Hampel that Britain pays well. He and others had to change travel plans at some personal expense to get this meeting on, of course they deserve some praise Edited by woz01

Easy Coventry win tonight, gotta hope King performs like he normally does around Brandon to keep this respectable. Dont know if our riding order is correct, Wouldn't Nermark have top ride in a heat leader postion as hes ahead of Josh G in the averages?

TBF, look at who Fisher has to beat tonight. Grajczonek, King and R/R that could be either of them two but could also be Nermark or Covatti. Fisher should be looking at 8 or 9 tonight even off form.
