arnieg
Both meetings had very poor turn outs. It's starting to rain now so hoping it passes and the meeting will be on. The British Youth Championship meeting had an exceptionally high turnout for competition at this level

Skodaman
Both meetings had very poor turn outs. The turn out for the U16 meet was said by the organisers to be really good for this event. (Please note that this is not a word for word quote before anybody picks me up on it) It just shows that most British speedway fans don't support the future Brits,it was a great night out with 45 races for £8.50 Let's hope for a shock home win today

justathought
Can I have a weather update please guys ?? Bank Holiday Monday will see some bright or sunny spells, although cloud will increase at times and scattered showers are likely, possibly turning heavy or thundery later in the day. At moment in Nottingham dry, had no rain at all.
Chrall
We've been had a couple of light showers and there is only light cloud, so not looking too bad at the moment

LagutaRacingFan
This is a mess I don't think the Leicester promotion have a clue what they are doing. My girlfriend says that they are delaying the inevitable because of a good crowd size. Meeting should have been called off by now.

weatherwatcher
I am a Lions fan and live 25 miles from BP. I run a local weather station there and the rainfall has been minimul I have just checked the rainfall close to BP and over the last 2 days we have had less than half an inch of rain in 2 days. So what is the problem with the tracks and why do they have to cancel mettings. That amount of rain should easily soak away on the track, so doe's the problem lay with the tracks. Are they packed so hard these days that it stops the rain from soaking away into the surface, this to me seams a logical answer. I could understand it if we had something like 2 inches in a few hours but not with the amount of rain we had over the last 2 days. Something is terribly wrong somewhere.
