whistlegang
Get Baseby signed before tonight and we might pick up a point based on the improvements shown by Chessell and Ayres (Danny loves the whistles). #daretodream! still buzzing from yesterday - great stuff lads. Ben91
Baseby has been around a long while, he's got a 4 point average for a reason.
JonHWeiner
Good match yesterday in wet conditions. Nice to see Steve Boxall - he is fast! As a Coventry Bees fan living in Kent, my granddaughter and I have "adopted" the Kent Kings as our local team. We enjoy the National League racing and think the setup in Sittingbourne is great. The facilities are far better than the nearest Elite League stadium. Next week will give us a bit of a dilemma - Kent hat or Coventry hat? My granddaughter has literally got both! Finally, great respect to the fans yesterday for the minute's silence. My granddaughter bought an old programme from the track shop, for the 1975 British final at Coventry, with a picture of Malcolm Simmonds - I think he scored 14 points! Old Crusader
Any changes to our team at Cradley? Will Mr Baseby be riding for us?

Seemed to be a big crowd yesterday on what was a lousy afternoon. If it wasn't a big crowd, they certainly made a lot of noise when the Kent boys got victories!!
Wiseguy
Hi all, my first post, I grew up watching Exeter in late 70s through to the mid 90s when I moved away from the area Now living in Kent, I have started to follow the kings Great effort from all involved yesterday, and great to see a proper speedway team like wimbledon back on the track Not seen much live speedway over the last 10 years, but I have introduced my 2 young kids to it and they love it, and I have definitely got the bug back Ben Morley looked class, as did boxhall, apart from his first heat engine failure, going to take me a while to remember all these young riders again, I've kept in touch with the SGP, but have now returned to watching the national league speedway I so fondly remember watching growing up Am I right in thinking James Cockle is also without a club?, thought he looked decent yesterday
Sings4Speedway
Highlight of the afternoon was the form of Danny Ayers ,he has pace and is now less likely to fall by overiding Hope we have him under contract...his 5-1 with David Mason, who again showed what team riding is all about in holding off a determined Jack Kingston and nursing the rookie home was the best race of an entertaining afternoon,,Great credit to all the riders as the track became increasingly wet and slippery on the inside line. Couldn't agree more. Danny looked in far more control today on what seemed to be new machinery? Perhaps a different machine was the answer. For me the real hero was David Mason. The team riding skills he showed to encourage bot Danny & Luke home during the afternoon was superb. A stunning performance as captain & a shining example that its a team game.
