How can weather forecasts be so different? The one I've just seen on Facebook shows no rain at all, unless she's got the one for Brandon in Suffolk by mistake.

Google Earth shows a big band of rain just below Coventry area which is right on the edge. It stretches from the Isle of Man south east to beyond London . I think the weather is coming in from the south..if so, it may just miss us once this shower has alleviated. Touch and go, I'd say..

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message including your mobile number.

Thanks

Watch this space then. I'm lucky I suppose that I don't have to leave until 6.30pm so hopefully a decision will have been made by then.

4.30pm WEATHER UPDATE

Friday May 23, 2014

AS of 4.30pm tonight's Elite League fixture between the Buildbase Bees and Eastbourne remains ON.

We have rain at the stadium at the time of this update; however, the track is taking it well and the forecast indicates that it should clear to give way to brighter conditions.

We will be monitoring the conditions and the forecast and will provide a further update at around 5.30pm.
