Swindon - Leicester Now June 5th

Recommended Posts

This thursday sees the team from Leicester visiting with a couple of Swindon riders that ride for them.

Looking forward to seeing Jason and Mads returning.

Jason and Mads ride the Abbey circuit well and should provide some good heats.

Simon Stead is riding at Sheffield and is replaced by Sam Masters

Patrick Hougaard is replaced by Ben Barker, my favorite rider

Rosco has switched Simon to ride at number 2 and Dak at 4 but Simon is going to have to up his performance in the meeting, especially when he rides against Sam Masters.

A home win i believe,i am really looking forward to Doyley returning Mads also is great value. With Simon a clean slate for me i hope he can turn it around i will be rooting for him.Can he? i have my doubts and over the years i have disliked the flak (ex) Steady,Kennett, got off the MINORITY of our fans and in the end it does no good.really.But looking at King,s Lynn last night we have not got much time a decent run has to start from now.

Well done to the Swindon promotion for announcing the teams two days before the match and not in alphabetical order either....unlike some tracks who are trying to discourage fans from printing their own programme.

Think the weather will win this one....... Awful forecast for Thursday, persistent and heavy rain, with embedded thunderstorms on the cold front are possible. There's just a possibility the worst of it may track up the eastern side of the Country, rather than slap up the middle, if so, might just get away with just a wet morning and then isolated afternoon/evening shower/s......

Perhaps we should change our race night-that'll confuse the weather for a couple of weeks!

A lot of rain due tonight and early hours tomorrow then quite a lot 4pm till 7pm.

Lets hope the forecast changes

Isn't that the headline almost every Thursday?!

With so much notice I'm sure Ronnie can get the plastic sheeting down?!!

We'll look forward to seeing you there! Offers of help are always gratefully accepted.

Started raining in Swindon town centre about 10 mins ago. I guess it depends how much we get.

One of those days where if they'd called it off early the sun would have come out and when they decide to try and give it a go the heavens open.
