Kings Lynn Stars V Poole Pirates Thursday 22nd May

When you read people comments, you take on board, how it was said, why it was said , the attitude of the person, and the mannerism of the person he portrays. When you have all those things, it gives you a picture of that person. The picture I have of Semion, he is somebody who doesn't believe the Stars are good enough to win, He isn't bothered whether we win or lose as long as the racing is exciting, and it was for those reasons I got the impression that Semion doesn't rate our chances in the league this year by the things he has said.

Now if my assumption is wrong, then Semion should look what impression he is giving out to people. I am sure he is in no doubt, of how I feel....

That's better. :t: your getting there. Don't worry about the play-offs, If we win the league our confidence will be sky-high and able to take on the world......

What we need is a forum meet up, love to hear the banter lol. Come on, where and when everyone, I'll suggest first bend in front of pits viewing platform at 7.30, cos that's where I stand lol Edited by Trees

Lynn by 16. They are by far the strongest team in the league, best heat leader in NKI and as important top reserve in Kerr. Must be bookies favourite now. There is then a pack of a few who could make play-offs. Not sure why people are tipping Poole as they lost at home to an ordinary Bees team tonight. Maybe the season isn't lost for the awesome Brummies:-) great win for us tonight start of the rise up the table.

Poole to hit back to prove they are just as good as the stand out team this year. :P

You may be joking but we mustn't take it for granted. We'll have to work exceptionally hard to get a result tomorrow

Don't sell your team short you will easily win this one. The Poole reserves are weak and NKI and Woofy will go through the card. Poole are likely to be 4th this year so Lynn will have harder matches than this stroll. Look at tonight an average Bees line up beat the Pirates at their home!!!

Of course i`m joking!

If the Stars stay fit all year they will blitz all before em.

This younger riders are only going to get better.

I suppose the only word of caution is facing a team that has just been beaten at Home by a mid table team.

Still think it should be a breeze for the Stars. Such a joy to watch this team develop.

A fully-fit Darcy over Holder, I might agree but he ain't going to be race-fit for a few weeks yet and will surely be taking it 'steadily' so as not risk the knee if he can help it. With the risk of rain and a likely heavy track, as I've said earlier I predict a 51-39 or similar home win!!

I see no reason to change my prediction as above!!

I must say the weather doesn't sound at all promising, and it wouldn't surprise me if it does get rained-off. If the worst does happen, I hope it's early enough to stop any Poole supporters making the very long journey.

If the meeting does go ahead, I would expect a KIng's Lynn win, but at the same time wouldn't read to much into the Pirates home defeat last night. Poole have got riders who ride the Norfolk Arena track very well, and I'd like to think that the likes of Janowski, Milik and Pawlicki will be equal to the likes of Schlein, Porsing and Lambert.

Due to his current concerns over injuries, I wouldn't think Ward will be at the same races as Iversen, but as Woffinden also has injury issues, they could run out on an even footing there. Lewis Kerr will almost certainly rule the roost over the opposition reserves, but with Mallett having spent a long time on the side-lines with injuries in recent years, and this only being his second Elite League meeting in a very long time, I doubt he'll be quite so dominant, but should be good enough to see off Ben Hopwood.

Somebody posted that if we don't beat Poole by 60+ then we don't deserve to be top of the table. I can't agree with that line of thought, as it's a different track and a different night. I think it could be much closer than some might think, but that of course is just my opinion.

Now all we've got to do is wait and see if these angry looking skies begin to look a bit friendlier.
