foreverblue
Lewis Rose is out of the meeting so Lynn will have to suffer like the majority of the teams in the EL have done with the Draft system. Didn't seem to be a problem monday and i expect Darren Mallett is alot better at the norfolk arena.
therefused
Didn't seem to be a problem monday and i expect Darren Mallett is alot better at the norfolk arena. all he really needs to do is beat hopwood and its job done.

Either way Kerr is likely to get 5 rides and as the much more capable draft rider will be the main reserve anyway. The guest will just be a 3 ride filler. semion
The point I'm trying to make is to get behind our team and support them. Cause we all want exciting racing and that is usually witnessed at home because the fairness of Saddlebow Road. You say our home form has been poor, but on the contrary, we have won each of those matches. You are forgetting to give them other teams credit for the way they have performed. In all of our matches at home, there is always at least one home rider who was not performing as he would have liked, but still we won. Just imagine the scores, had all the riders performed 100% each time.. We have talked about visiting fans coming to Lynn and creating a good atmosphere with their vocal support, This year we have the makings of a really memorable season. If we cant have more faith and give a lot vocal encouragement , then we never will... I support the team by turning up most weeks, and have done for years even when the team we have put out hasnt been all that. I must have missed the part in my post where I used the word POOR. Please do not quote words i havent used. Like you say each home meeting there has been at least one home rider who has not performed. Will tomorrow be any different, if so what leads you to that conclusion ? I truely think tomorrow night will be too close to call, and like Baggy has said it wouldnt surprise me if Poole came out on top. I am hoping for a good nights Speedway entertainment and the right result for Lynn...In that order. Maybe you have a different opinion, which of course you are fully entitled to. No worries, . He's an important member of the team. Best he rests and gets back to full fitness and hope for a speedy recovery. There 2 more meetings next week........ In my book, your wording of ' Less than impressive' is similar to ' POOR' and have same meaning. You getting into a 2 and 8 over that example is ridiculous. The difference between you and me is I always have a good night at the speedway, regardless of the score or the racing. Just being in that environment does it for me. The people I speak with, The people I see. Even when travelling to away tracks , getting hammered, the Ref was rubbish, and pouring down with rain, I still have good night. I listen and read many things and I'm of the impression, that there are more speedway fans out there, who think we will win the league, more then there is from our own supporters..... Strange that........
Bagpuss
Mallett more than capable at Lynn. Best for Lewis R to take his time and get properly fit.

I agree with you it is a good to be with the right people when watching a meeting, but surely we all want to see exciting racing. If you can get excited by gate and go speedway, then fair play, if thats what floats your boat. Strange ? what that not everyone shares the same opinion as you. Yeah, real strange. foreverblue
It will against a top team though. Agree. Mallett has only Hopwood to beat though.
pointsmeanplayoffs
Now then, this is what the EL is all about. Two top teams on a top race track. I hope Lynn will win, I think they will, but it's going to be a squeaker without KB and Rose. So come on pessimists/realists/optimists/whatever! let's get down to the Norfolk Arena and make a lot of NOISE so our boys KNOW we are behind them 100%, after Monday night they certainly deserve it.

semion
There you go again GRW, putting words in my mouth. I dont need any help, but thanks anyway. Do I think we will be top of the League, yeah I do. Will we win the play-offs ? Lap of the gods. June to October, loads can happen.

Bagpuss
Not forgetting Newman and Josh G and/or Milik!!! If you are comparing Mallet's contribution to what Rose would likely have scored then I think beating Hopwood and maybe Newman once is about right. Think Darren is well capable of matching that. Milik and Josh G really ought to be too strong and almost certainly would have been for Lewis R too.
g13webb
Don't know what dictionary you use but I can't see anything in ANY of semions posts that say that. When you read people comments, you take on board, how it was said, why it was said , the attitude of the person, and the mannerism of the person he portrays. When you have all those things, it gives you a picture of that person. The picture I have of Semion, he is somebody who doesn't believe the Stars are good enough to win, He isn't bothered whether we win or lose as long as the racing is exciting, and it was for those reasons I got the impression that Semion doesn't rate our chances in the league this year by the things he has said. Now if my assumption is wrong, then Semion should look what impression he is giving out to people. I am sure he is in no doubt, of how I feel.... There you go again GRW, putting words in my mouth. I dont need any help, but thanks anyway. Do I think we will be top of the League, yeah I do. Will we win the play-offs ? Lap of the gods. June to October, loads can happen. That's better. your getting there. Don't worry about the play-offs, If we win the league our confidence will be sky-high and able to take on the world...... Gavan
Not forgetting Newman and Josh G and/or Milik!!! Dont agree Why should Mallett have to beat Newman , Josh G and Milik? He is a number 7. A number 7's role is to beat the other number 7 and at best maybe the opposing number 6 once. If Mallett gets 3 points and Hopwood 0 then he will have done his job. If Josh and Milik cant beat Mallett then Poole are in big trouble. Same the other way round if Hopwood beats Porsing or Lambert
