Poole Pirates Vs Coventry Bees 21/5/2014

Recommended Posts

but if hopwood fall s u are still 11 up? So they could have used tac ride next time out or held on for next heat. You would have needed both to fall in heat nine to avoid them getting a rac sub ride. Snd then josh g do the same in heat 10? Whereupon the 5-1 to coventry in heat 11 would still be a momentum swinger

Yes we would still be 11 up and if the next heat was drawn as it was then they wouldn't have been able to do a tac ride with Hans and Hansen.

Not at all..............you win some you lose some.........as long as the meetings are close then win or lose its worthwhile.............

Good comment Red Panda, If only certain posters had the same view, rather than a win at any cost attitude.

Only if they used harris as a tac at 11 down. And there was no way of knowing in heat 9 what the heat 10 result would be? Dropping a point in the hope that it will stop a second tac sub from being used a few heats down the line seems quite fraught to me. Had harris won 10 on a tac sub or fisher picked up a point it would have looked like a ridiculous move.

No worries :D, I'm not sure if he has posted anything . I just checked his profile and it gave the last time he was active, I presume that means signed in.

Anyhow you will understand, it is just another chance to have a smile at his antics. ;)

I expect they wouldn't have used Harris as a tac therefore been 13 down to ensure Hans And Hansen get there tac ride which if all subsequent scores had remained the same then it would have been a draw but as we know tac rides change meetings. Fair play to Coventry for using the rules to their advantage and if Ward could have stayed on his bike in heat 15 we would have won anyway.

Even a single old school tac sub ride is stronger than a double point tactical.

If only speedway were as marketable as wrestling, or should I say marketed and promoted as well.

As I said it's the double points that isn't marketable in a sport that wants to be taken seriously. Wrestling is a glorified pantomime not a sport.

I would imaging Shovvy is having a good old chuckle, what with so many posters being obsessed with his scribblings. :)

No he is just making himself to look like the ...... we all know he is.

The fact he cant/wont comment when Poole struggle just shows what he is like and im sure he can expect some good old banter if/when he decides he can come on here again. (im going for when Poole win again)

No doubt his excuse for his sabbatical is under full swing.

If there is a family reason / health issue explaining why he isnt here then i will apologise straightaway but for now he is making his current reputation on here get a whole lot worse

Seems everyone is missing Steve Shovlar, he gets a mention in every other post!

To be fair to the guy, when Birmingham visited, he did say they deserved a point, and he isn't gloating about the point at Lynn (that's the best any team can expect this season)

Thing is, at the start ofctge seadon shovvy was predicting poole to lose matches, and was accused of underselling the poole team. Then when he predicted poole wins he was accused of being arrogant. Poor chap (profanity filter) can't win.

Tbf, its blatantly obvious that ss loves winding people up. Whereas other posters on here seem unaware of the ridiculousness of their own posts.

Yeah, so wouldn't it just be the greatest wind-up ever if he didn't post for the rest of the year, and neither did KKS :P

I don't know why you just can't get off Steve's back. You lot only pick on the things you want to pick up on. You totally ignore his impartial posts, and yes, ther are some..
