Shaleshifter
Well next Wednesday brings the 2nd visit to Wimborne Rd of the Bees. There seems to be unbalanced feel to the fixtures list this season with teams meeting twice before completion of the A fixtures? Anyway on to the meeting, Coventry were a tough nut to crack last time out and pushed Poole hard, Kenneth Hanson in particular rode well as did Ryan Fisher. Then through in Hans Andersen and track expert Chris Harris it could be another tight meeting for Poole. My view is this could be decided on how well the reserves do as last time Jason Garrrity and James Sargent struggled with the track. kyle Howarth rode well last time and had some titanicbattles with Kyle Newman. The Pirates will be relying on Kyle Newman to score big but Ben Hopwood could well struggle again. Also will Darcy Ward return or will we be relying on a guest? Thoughts! mdmc82
Aaron summers doesnt ride for bees anymore. It was Howarth not Summers who rode at last meeting

mdmc82
Hansen and Fisher seem to have loss form since they last rode against Poole. Garrity has improved. Think this could be close depending on if Ward is back
Sienna Ryan
This could be a tough one as Coventry very good away but Poole very good at home esp with Ward is back. Bees have been one of the most exciting teams to watch against Poole this season. Agree though that Hansen hadnt had the same excitement since this meeting and Fisher's move to heat leader is going to be tough. Shame this isn't televised as last meeting between them was one of the best on sky this season. Strange how the fixtures are when Coventry will have raced at Poole twice now yet Poole havent been to Brandon yet.

dorset delight
I think i am right in saying the first meeting was switched from Coventry because the track was unsafe.

weatherwatcher
Just been looking on the Pirates website at this years team. It shows Ward and Smart still on the team with Holder and Hopwood as rider replacements. Think it is time they made thier mind up with Smart, if he is still a part of the team or has he gone. Plus is Ward ever going to ride for them again. I think there was more to this than just the injury thing. It may just to to it in the end that Holder stays in the team. We will have to wait and see. There is nothing on thier site at all sayiong anything about Ward which I find very strange, you would at least think they would mention how he is getting on. Holder wont ride for poole again this season unless something happens to his commitments abroad later in the season. I dont think its strange leaving the original team as it was and then listing replacements.
weatherwatcher
Not a lot to go by the greensheet shows that Liecester have Hougaard and Lung riding for them, but it looks like both of those have gone and Lung has been replaced by Lasse Bjerre. I am only going on what it shows on the Pirates website. Take a look. See for yourself under the team for 2014, if you don't believe me. Woz01
We can certainly gain a point from this after our last performance at Poole. Just need Bomber to improve his last score of 3 and I can see Garrity getting the better of Newman this time as Newman hasnt performed as well since his injury. Edit: didnt realise Newman scored 9 last time out so his battle with Garrity will be key. Edited May 18, 2014 by woz01
mdmc82
Hansen hasn't been as good lately but we know this is a track he does well on. Poole will be strengthened if Ward back as Holder had been average dropping
