northyorksbear
So is Schramm there or not tonight? It was announced at Redcar on Thursday - very reliable source "our" centre green announcer!. Didn't actually say who he was guesting for, just that he was guesting - maybe Skidmore is ill

Yearbyred
Bears to score more than they did at Somerset (but probably not many). Edit - Mission accomplished after 10 heats Edited May 18, 2014 by Yearbyred

northyorksbear
good job it's only 'Redcar' this week,,, a good side would be expecting an away win ;-) Well said - if it were a good team Diamonds might not have got 30

mikebaker
Well done, especially to Hugh Skidmore, openly admits he hates the Newcastle track. Best possible time to have gone there. But bout time something worked in our favour. Diamonds have a very long tail now. If any of the other 4 have an off night, they are in trouble. A nice 4 point away win, always sweet when it is a derby win. Edited May 18, 2014 by simmo1958

On a more serious note - never saw this coming at all. Diamonds were obviously weaker at reserve without Schramm and it was Kings first meeting but after the debacle at Somerset I was fearing the worst. Fair play to the lads though they all chipped in - even Skiddy at his least favourite track.

jenga
5 heat wins to the home side.. 10 to the bears. george, you just shot newcastles season to bits with your world cup star.. getting rid of henry and rosen was a HUGE mistake. thus puttin rose into the main body. reserves are ultra weak. sleep well george.. i will.. exellent win for the bears, but worky just pip the bears in the lc with a win at glasgow today.. ..night,night.
