orion
If Coventry win this meeting, I will never post on the BSF again. That's 15 less members

jenga
just how much were Eastbourne charging for admission tonight. that side that cov put out would barley make the top 6 in the nl.. poor, pooe elite league .. feel sorry for the good people of eastie that forked out good money to watch that lot.

I wouldn't worry about the good people of Eastie too much. Looking at the crowd, it's only Dugard and his immediate relatives that look to have turned up
YerRopes
I am presently watching the stream for free, but somehow still feel 'short-changed'.. Â Very sad to see such a great sport reduced to this level.. .
mdmc82
I only watched first 2 heats and the track was shocking and racing boring. would say feel sorry for paying public but didn't look like there was many there and that was with the bees taking a coach there as well. Â this can't be counted as speedway, really poor

brandonbee48
Watching the stream and I have no idea how this can do anything positive for speedway's (already dented ) image. Just imagine a first timer at this. Amateurish and sad. Alan.
mdmc82
there are no real winner in this dreadful excuse of a meeting tonight, the biggest loser tonight is speedway
yellowandblack
Fair enough everybody. I would rather be there watching the Storm get shafted on a warm night than watching Britain's got talent however I am watching Britain's got talent
brandonbee48
I would estimate that there are about 300 or so spectators.
brandonbee48
I presume Hansen was taking the piss by doing a lap of honour with a wheelie after winning heat 14. The Bees fightback begins with a 3-2.

Just imagine a first timer at this. Amateurish and sad. Alan. Very worrying times for our beloved sport and like many feel the medlers really have got this draft rider system wrong. Right idea but draft picks were shocking when they have chosen riders not even up to Premier league level let alone Elite league. Never have I been so disillusioned with our Elite league as I have this season and the powers that be seem to fail to know what to do to shake it up. I have been saying for years now that Elite league should run on just one night possibly a Monday and all this guest riding needs to be stopped. Football would look great with Rooney guesting for Chelsea one week playing for Man U another then guesting for Spurs the next week. Its a farce and damaging the fan base and its only Sky revenue keeping some clubs going. I want to see the worlds best and up and coming riders and yes it would be great to see the Brits bought along but dear oh dear who on earth chose to have such an uneven batch of draft riders, clearly some are up to it but at the same time some not even premier league level. Little thought has gone into the selection process when riders like Birks, and Auty can't get a ride in the Elite league. The Elite league needs a massive overhaul otherwise its clubs will die and it will be just the lucky ones who will survive. Agree with many that to charge £17 for such a watered down product was suicide when you have to buy a programme and at Swindon pay a ridiculous £2 to park. We have lost a few top riders this season as it is and then introduced this Draft system that is clearly too much too soon and would have been better tested in the Premier league with Elite teams having to track say two Brits in their 1-7's. Just hope the powers that be read these forums.
mdmc82
you can always tell which gate eastbourne are out of by the grading and the men with the brushes. how do Eastbourne get away with it! sad they feel the need to do it in a meeting against NL riders
brandonbee48
Shh----t. The stream cut off after heat 14, just when it was getting tense. Take care all and happy speedway! Alan.

It's complete and utter crap, if the number of spectators is right they must have lost serious money tonight.

Sienna Ryan
A meeting that was one of the worst adverts for British speedway (and Eastbourne's pockets & averages I'm guessing) Â really feel for Bees fans tonight as Garrity, Hans and Harris would have scored more than the guests tonight and feel the bees would have pushed Eastbourne close. really sad to watch
