mdmc82
Bit of a patched up meeting this one, with only one possible outcome. JK is a wild card in GP so Eastbourne are strengthened by Bridger guesting. Coventry will be missing not only Garrity but will also be missing their top 2 of Harris & Hans. Coventry will have no facility for Hans so have to use a 5pt PL rider at no

stan jr
Could. Coventry not call this meeting off in the intrest of fans not getting there monies worth........ seam to remember a similar case not long ago !?
CB252
Fo a club that's got managers and promoters in abundance not to spot that going here on this date wasn't a very good idea is laughable. They signed Andersen in November, long before any fixtures were drafted and must have known he was doing SEC again. Would've been a thrashing anyway so no real harm done, but Eastbourne will no doubt suffer with the attendance due to Bees ineptitude. #shambles

Yes, Poole did this as they deemed it `damaging to their business`. I think you can call off any meeting to suit if the line up is weak.............................. using the Poole logic. How were the management supposed to know what date it would fall on? He was allocated this date after the fixture list had been organised Edited May 13, 2014 by Adam Vickers
Silver Cheetah Snr
Eastbourne's loss as the weather is looking nice but I would think the attendance of away fans will be virtually zero.

Promoters, don't expect punters to be rushing thro the gate to see a watered down Elite league, further watered down with numerous guests, its a big turn off if you didn't already know. mdmc82
With the GP the same time and depleted line up, would imagine Eastbournes promotion will lose lot of money hosting this fixture on this date

SCB
For any Eagles supporter out there ...... is there any increase in the average attendance when Coventry are in town ???I don't know what other clubs take but Coventry often have a coach and many cars. I'd be amazed if Coventry are not one of the best supporter teams at Eastbourne.

Aces51
Coventry have the best away support in the league Not at Belle Vue. No away team brings large numbers these days, not too surprising for a Monday race night. Of recent years probably Birmingham have brought the most.
