tellboy
Was going to come up for the Lynn match but as we have a select side I have decided against it.Unless we manage to get adequate guests I can't see my mind changing. Maybe Woofy,Andersen and Milik could fill in,maybe tempted then
Bagpuss
A joke that this meeting was arranged for this particular Thursday, no idea why both visits to Brum had to be shoehorned in before the end of May. Hard to say how we might fair without knowing who the three guests are but always look for a point away from home.
Daniel Smith
I won't be critical of Birmingham for not calling this one off. The Brummie's are struggling badly with a few glimpses of hope over the last couple of weeks. With us severely depleted is a great opportunity for the Brummie's and good luck to them. When we were in the EL in our previous years swimming around the bottom of the league we were very grateful to see an even worse team arrive just to get a result. Right now this is were Birmingham are and if & when we're back in that situation I hope we'd do the same. This isn't Birmingham's problem, we'll just have to deal with the hand we're given and hope the guests put in a shift.
Bagpuss
Don't blame Brum for wanting to run it at all, just can't fathom why it was arranged in the first place.
The Pedaler
I'm sure that everyone on BSF who advocates £10 speedway will delight at the news of the reduced admission prices and will show the courage of their convictions by making a bee-line for the turnstiles and ensure a bumper crowd. Best get there early to ensure you get the best view points. No doubt someone can get a link for the benefit of the budget conscious to print their own race cards, as the club don't really need your programme money, being as flush with cash as they are. Speedway on the cheap. This is what the Scribes and the Pharisees of BSF want, and that's what you're going to get!

Just going through the fixtures and it's an absolute headache to be fair. Brum a Wednesday track and available date restrictions plus Iversen, Bjerre, Porsing and Lambert racing Denmark on Wednesdays hence we have a load of Thursday fixtures. A good few Friday's scrapped due to GP practice. Also fixtures put together to try not to damage the 2 Lewis's fixtures to much with Newcastle. There's a 2 week break for the speedway World Cup. I think the Football World Cup has been taken into consideration also with the only potential clash with an England fixture is Saturday 5th July away to Eastbourne It actually does look as though this Thursday was our best date for this fixture

Guest GiveusaB
I know it's difficult over here, but you cant beat how the other European Leagues do it and that's to ALL race on the same night ! As a fan of speedway, I'd rather see a full strength KL team, even though I know we'll probably get hammered! I'm not a fan of guest riders! pointsmeanplayoffs
It's just a case of bad timing, I was going to make the trip on Thursday, but am not now. Sure a few Stars fans will feel the same and instead save the money for an away trip when we can actually watch a team full of our own riders. Hopefully the meeting will be on Bet365 and the boys can continue our good form and take some more away points.
em1500uk
Too soon after the last meeting to head over for this I think. Was surprised it was such a quick turnaround! Added in with the fact Niels and Nicklas are missing due to being in the Danish Championships and Kenneth being out with his injury, I'm just not bothered about missing this one, but hope we still get some points out of the meeting. Hope we make decent guest selections, that's all I have to say!
Al Stewart
This never-ending Danish Championship seems to clash with just about every British fixture.

The Pedaler
This never-ending Danish Championship seems to clash with just about every British fixture. DISGUSTING! How dare these foreigners have their own "Mickey Mouse" tournaments? Don't they know that the only thing that matters in the whole wide world is the BRITISH Elite League. WE won the war. WE saved them from the Germans. About time they showed some respect. Should be banned for getting in the way of what WE are doing. Next thing you know the Poles and the Swedes will have some tournaments as well. Damned blighters.
g13webb
Having just seen the guest announcement on the Stars website, I'm of the impression we are a lot weaker then our normal line-up. Feel we are giving Birmingham a big opportunity to get back some of the points they lost last time..... Shame the sport is run this way....... last year we went to Wolves with only 3 riders and got tanked, I can see this being the same..........

Won't be 30-60 like last time but should be good enough to take a point minimum
tellboy
Especially as the meeting is on Friday evening-and they are all not riding Thursday here !!!!! I'm pretty sure the re-arrangement is Thursday. Watt and Nicholls for Iversen and Bjerre don't do it for me so I will be saving my money Wouldn't mind seeing young Fricke though so I will have to hope it is on Bet365. P T Preece
So daft to have this fixture with half the KL team missing, when will promoters learn, if you want people to travel get the best team out on the track that you can, thats your won team not a select. If you travel, have a safe journey, Come on you BRUMMIES.

Bagpuss
'Lack of cooperation' cited as the reason it's not been rearranged, but can't blame Brum for wanting to go ahead. Far weaker with those guests but I'm sure they will give their all and we should be able to collect a point. Would fancy us for all four with a full team though. Disappointing.
