Islander15
I would like to be proved wrong but I think the Newcastle management have looked at the Devon starting NL averages and plumped for the highest, as Shanes would've been the smart choice! HadrianDog
A good away point from the lads. Pity no Schramm or we maybe would have taken them at least to draw. For the first time he has ridden it, DK was pretty successful and it seems he can ride the smaller track which bodes well for his future at Brough.
Halifaxtiger
Cracking meeting I'd forgotten just what a superb race track SBA is and the amazing first corners that are produced by that short run from the tapes. Those who say that they don't like Plymouth because of its size have surely never been. Brilliant to see a big crowd after recent troubles, they ran out of programmes and the start had to be delayed to get everyone in. Fair result in the end with Newcastle getting a point. Have you any opinion on Danny Kings' performance down there-does he look the business against young Barker for example.
Halifaxtiger
Did you go? I could be very sarcastic here but won't. Yes, I did. Have you any opinion on Danny Kings' performance down there-does he look the business against young Barker for example. He did fine and will give you the top end power you have been lacking. You have to remember that that was King's first visit to SBA, Barker has ridden it for 3 seasons. Barker got the jump on him from the tapes in all three races (there were some real elbows at the start of heat 13) and King couldn't catch him. The one who caused Barker most problems was Robson. He beat him in heat 10 and was all over him in heat 15, a cracker of a race.

Knew it was his first visit to the track so pleased he was in the points. I was just asking because I was going to ask the exact same question that has already been raised. Beat you to the post button only because of your exam strains methinks?
DIAMONDS
As much as everyone had thought the changes has weakened the team, I don't think they have especially after tonight's performance. 1. Danny King-Great top end power. 2. Lewis Rose-Good young potential. 3. Stuart Robson-Great experience to bring on the youngsters along with King. 4. Lewis Kerr-Good young potential. 5. Ludvig Lindgren-Great heat leader IMO, despite all the bad word about him. 6. Chris Schramm-Good experienced partner to bring on Dan Greenwood. 7. Dan Greenwood-Good young potential. I also like the fact that we have 6 Brits and only 1 foreign rider. How I think most teams should be aimed to be built by.
