cityrebel
This coming Monday sees the potters visit Central Park. The weather forecast looks poor for the next few days, fingers crossed for some of the dry stuff!
Mike.Butler
Hope there's a few less incidents than last week or we won't get a result in the time available... Get that gate open Len!
waco
Seriously concerned about the curfew if we get anything like the delays of last monday,,Every one especially the ref will need to be on the ball..It wont be easy with Benji out weakens the team badly ,Dont know why we cant have a guest as RR does not hack it with the riders able to take his rides,....Expect Wilson ,Hopwood and Armstrong to make this a tough test for the Kings,, much will depend on our rookie reserves and Luke Chessel, ( is he riding also injured last week ) to keep cool and stay on board and pick up good points ,,also not sure if we will need a guest for Simon Lambert injured before the weekend,,if so we should have a good choice on account of his high average Then there is the weather ,,lots of ifs about this meeting at the moment... The first injury in the riders declared second to fifth in the averages is covered by R/R. You can only have a guest if that rider is missing because he's riding in the Elite League. waco
Thanks for that Islander,, what happens if Chessle is out as well, can we have a guest for the higher average rider?
Islander15
Thanks for that Islander,, what happens if Chessle is out as well, can we have a guest for the higher average rider? Â If there's 2 injuries in your 2-5 (so Compton and Chessell) you have R/R and a guest and it doesn't matter which way round the R/R and guest are. Mjolnir
Looking forward to another Kent meeting this evening - hopefully fewer delays this time though. Â As Waco mentioned, we're really missing Benji. Hopefully we can get by until he's back on a bike!

Mjolnir
Stoke look like a very solid side so far. We've got some work to do if we're going to win this one!

Fromafar
Good to see James McBain getting some points after being given a chance of regular racing with Stoke
New Cross Ranger
After the reports I read about last weeks meet I was surprised to see only one rider come off and he remounted immediately to finish the heat, on what looked a slick but smooth surface. I know we were two riders down but on that display we may struggle until Benji and Brandon return to race fitness.
Baldy
Pity the rain came hard to put an end to the meeting. Potters impressive so far this year and look solid in all departments. If they remain injury free then they will take some stopping. All expect Wilson,Hopwood and Armstong to be a big backbone to this side and so they will but where good sides become challengers is if the rest of the team comes on and Chris and James have been as good as any in the side; in fact have far exceeded expectations. Lee will go from strength to strength as he gets more rides and Rob at reserve is only into this sport but picking up useful points with spirited riding. Good to see Stoke having good press and a team worthy of the 5 Stars.

Great Central
Well doe to ref Dave Robinson and the riders for getting through 10 heats in 50 minutes with no restarts..what a comparison with last week! Great effort which shows what can be achieved when necessary. I thought that the track held up really well with no signs of the previous problems. cityrebel
I agree, well done in getting a result in tricky conditions. I think the natural watering helped the track in the early part of the meeting.
