LagutaRacingFan
Surely Lawson has to be in Rosco's thoughts, He's a top rider and lad when he was with the Panthers. I was heartbroken to find out that him and Chantelle might no longer be a couple, when I was younger at P'boro; they were always so happy together and a perfect couple. It still makes me cry thinking about it, Can somebody tell me if they are still together? Edit: I think they are still together, I am so so happy. The Voice Of Reason
Yet another dire away performance from Lakeside. Read my earlier post and tell me I was wrong. In the interim, two words of advice to Davey Watt. The second of which is 'Off'.

FAST GATER
Have read this thread with great interest and find it hard to believe that people genuinely think that Watt would not score points on purpose or to aid his parent club.I have no doubt that there are times when point scoring may be called into question but i do believe that people see conspiraicies where there aren't any . Watt like everyone else is human and as such will have good and bad days and having 4or 5 matches on the spin will have an affect on man and machinery IMO. As for PK ( I declare I am a huge fan) he has had a poor start to the season by his high standards and there may be several reasons why ,the favourite being his "age " ,no getting away from that he is on average twice as old as most of the riders he races against .Then there were the two nasty accidents last season which would of seen off most riders ten years his junior never mind a forty five year old but this is PK we are talking about .IMO no one can expect him to knock in double figures week in week out home and away and I don't think that Cook and co expect that .What is expected IMO is that he score nine/ten points at home and 7/8 points away and for most of the time this is what he dose.As to the present situation I think that there is an issue with his machinery which is affect his ability to race to his full potential not least of which gate consistently ,patience is called for IMO there is life in the" old dog" yet !!

This is no way condemnation of Davey, but is not unheard of in the past for riders to fiddle the scores so to speak, so I can see were the criticism comes from. The best way to answer it is to score a hatful next time you race at Poole. Edited May 15, 2014 by Custom House Kid
bigcatdiary
Difference is Wolf he has pride wearing the Aussie colours, with Hammers its just a job. I think a lot of riders fall into that bracket but the rumours about Watt have been circulating for years.
Pirate Baz
I'm still not sure this morning how we won that by 10. Lakeside must be gutted to come away with nothing as they deserved at least a point. Lawson was very impressive and well worth his 13 points. The new number 4, who Nij the announcer got confused over and kept calling Lewis Bridger had a lot of speed. The only time I suspected it might be Bridger was heat 14 when he took Ellis out and deprived the Hammers of a 5-1 that might well have earned them a point. But the heat leaders ........... 10 points between them from 13 rides. Our lot were inconsistent. Six of the seven achieved a heat win, but three of the top five had a zero on their against their name. Shamek being the notable exception, only denied his max by the superb Lawson in 15. I fear the reverse fixture on Saturday week. I can't see us getting close to the Hammers, but as I said in an earlier posting my predictions are rubbish.
pugwash
Stop embarrassing yourself. I don't even know who KKS is ffs. Give me a break! Just want to clear something up I am 100% not KKS so I would appreciate it if fellow members would stop accusing me of being KKS. Just because I am new to the forum does not make me KKS. Gater1. Just 2nd rate KKS impersonators?
Mjolnir
The best way to answer it is to score a hatful next time you race at Poole. I really hope he does! I think Jon Cook's comments are a pretty good summary of how most of us Hammers fans feel about it: http://www.lakesidehammers.co/content/?p=7659 There's still some positives to take from the meeting, but we need to bounce back with a convincing win against Kings Lynn on Monday and some of the team need to find some consistency. We're still on track for a top 4 finish currently, and as we've seen so many times it's the end of season form that can matter the most! Can Jon Cook please let everyone know where he gets his crystal balls from as he already reckons Darcy Ward will be in the Poole side on Saturday 24th, when Darcy himself said in interview last night that even he doesn't know if he'll be back next week or at all, yet!!! Gavan
Not a great performance from the Pirates against Lakeside. The Lakeside top 3 didnt get a heat win amongst them and only just scraped double figures. Still you cant do more than win. The big worries for Poole are who they can get at Number one. Still cant get why Darcy rides in the gp but nowhere else. When Tai was injured and had the world championship on the line he still rode for Wolves. Cant see Emil or Hampel coming here. People say KK but will he want to as he is leading the gp series. He may, like Holder, ride here without his best bikes. The form of Janowski needs looking at and his poor performances could prove costly in the long term. And the fact that Pooles number 7 will keep being changed wont help either. Josh, Milik and Newman doing exactly what was expected and Pawlicki has been good. Im sure there will be changes galore before the end of the season as the current 1-7 is not as strong as Lynn at the moment

He's got a similar injury to Darcy and has made the best decision (imo) to pull out of the Finnish GP.
