The key could be Bridger he could score 2 or 10 you never quite know with him,one thing is for sure if he scores10 we could be in a spot of bother. You seem to be claiming there are no reigning champions, but does that mean Tai isn't the reigning World Champion? A reigning champion is defined in the Collins dictionary as: "the most recent winner of a competition, contest etc." That would be unequivocally Poole, whose name is on the trophy. Incidentally, Josh and Newman both rode in the final for Poole, and Pawlicki helped get them there. If people don't agree with me, I can't say I'm particularly bothered, although several do seem to. You, on the other hand, claimed "only in blue rinse land" when I gave my opinion, so perhaps it is you who is rather arrogantly speaking for others? You're also quite wrong as I'm pretty sure neither Steve0, nor thecoombedog, will appreciate the blue tint you've given them. See post 16 by The Monk. He has reminded us that in 2011 even the inimitable Mr Shovlar was adamant that the hated Coventry were champions in 2010 only and we're not "reigning" in 2011 so who are we to disagree? A boxer retains his title until he is defeated,thus he can reign for years. The Speedway Regulations specifically refer to the competition which Poole won as the Elite League Championship 2013 so it seems that Steve Shovlars assessment of the situation when Coventry won is the correct one. A boxer retains his title until he is defeated,thus he can reign for years. Greg Hancock has a Champions medal but he doesn't ride for Poole in 2015. A new competition has started to decide the vacant championship. He helped him out as a favour as last season, so why not this ? I am sure if Holder does leave Poole in the brown stuff there will be a queue of riders ready to step in. After all, this is poole we are talking about. Any top rider has to have the ambition to ride in the Old skull and Crossbones jacket. No CV could ever be complete without it.
