robert72
you have picked 2 amazing threads of mine that is spot on even though a few still disagree. 1) Leicester track is a real let down not only for speedway but the people of Leicester FACT 2) Why should a promotor of speedway take the pee out of loyal fans by asking them to help pay for an American woman & her kids to fly to Poland to live when her husband has 4 good pay packets ? fisher should hand over what has been raised to ricky ashworth. Yes both are very valid points and why speedway is in such a laughable state. Who said I don't like Peterborough or Coventry ? Gemini
Who said I don't like Peterborough or Coventry ? Not me. Why can't you read what I said which is that you don't support Peterborough or Coventry so I wouldn't expect you to donate anything to one of their riders. But there's really no need to keep going on about it because we know your feelings after being told numerous times. Same with the Leicester track - we know what you think about that as well and there are a great many people who agree, including me, but repetition of the same thing is extremely boring. Does anyone even know who this loser is, can we not get him banned for being the most annoying person on here. For god sake you don't like anything about the sport so why follow it and make us put up with your constant dribble. Junior
robert72
What a sad individual you are. Says an ex promotor lol So your defending Horton for doing a collection ? Does anyone even know who this loser is, can we not get him banned for being the most annoying person on here. For god sake you don't like anything about the sport so why follow it and make us put up with your constant dribble. Junior Sums you up as a complete loser by your stupid comments. If I didn't care about my local team I wouldn't keep on about my concerns for its future. Also if I didn't care about the way the sport is run and how the fans are treated I wouldn't mention about a promotor taking fans as mugs. You wanting someone banned for caring shows your lack of brain cells. Maybe you should learn abit about why speedway is in the gutter and struggling. Not me. Why can't you read what I said which is that you don't support Peterborough or Coventry so I wouldn't expect you to donate anything to one of their riders. Woz01
so I and others are not allowed an opinion ? You wouldn't get this happening in any other sport or any other job. Any update on how much was raised in Poland ? Where I work there are collections most weeks for all sorts of reason like a death in the family, having a child or leaving the job. This is no different.

iris123
Recently at the local Bundesliga club the long time physio died. Now the guy was a legend at the club working with players going back to long time friend kevin Keegan. The club announced they were asking for donations for a statue outside the ground in his memory. Now this is a club dealing with millions of euros and he had close relationships with players who were millionaires.I am sure that in closed circles a request could have been made and more than enough would be raised for a decent memorial. But it is a club and it is probably right to ask the fans and let them feel a part of this,no matter how small the donation. There are lots of cases of one parent having to find work in another country and leave the family behind for years. In this case i don't really see his need to leave the family behind. He does have the choice to go back to them and won't i guess really be financially that badly off and in reality his career won't really suffer from a season out of the EL/PL.But it isn't really anyones prpblem if donations are asked for and given.Mountain out of a molehill, comes to mind. And after making a statement and defending the opinion two or three times it becomes pointless and obsessive to carry on over 10 or 20 posts!!! It's very different.

Hodgy
Are Coventry fans going to get the bucket out for fish farewell tomorrow ? Positive move to bring in MJJ but It does come across as a tad contradictive to ask supporters to dig deep then sack the bene'fisher'y.

LagutaRacingFan
I'm told MJJ might need some help to buy UK equipment. Let's help a young lad wanting to earn his trade in the UK have a fair chance, Shall we set up a GoFundMe page?
