oldswindonsupporter
To be fair, it was classed as an interval, extended track grading but overall the time period was not excessively long unlike some, have to agree in this day and age with no 2nd half, why there is a need for an interval at all really ought to be looked at. On the way home at qtr past nine!
gusworld
The rampant rebels made a tough task look easy. Simply swept away the comets apart from josh. What happened to Rene Bach?
oldswindonsupporter
It wasn't a classic by any means, a few decent races but Somerset far quicker out of the gate and were gone...all over after four heats in all reality, one 3 - 3 and then three 5 - 1's. stoneylegend
If normal practice is followed.... stoneylegend will be along with a rallying call shortly  If normal practise is also resumed the negative lets get rid of them all crew will be out.  .......  Believe ;-)

andypoll
The run of 60 points continues.... Will Redcar and Sheffield stop us over the next two weeks? I'm struggling to see it! No they wont. Somerset have got four home fixtures now in the Premier league, Redcar,Sheffield,Scunthorpe and Rye House. Possible 12 points should see them not far from top position in the league , looking a real strong outfit now all the team are scoring again. Looking good for the Rebels. andypoll
Nice to see another good performance from Charles Wright. Promoted from reserve through excellent performances, up to no 2 and still rattling in the scores on a consistent basis. A very underrated rider who has proved a lot of people wrong last year and the current season. Has guested for Poole on a few occasions scoring 9 + 1 and 8pts respectively. Well done Charles . Taylorj
Your quick to post when somerset have a convincing victory but when they don't you go missing.Nice one Mr Blobby  Didn't see much of their comments on the thread from last Saturday !, That was a quick about face.......What happened to 'We believe' ?We do Believe ;-) The rampant rebels made a tough task look easy. Simply swept away the comets apart from josh. What happened to Rene Bach? Rene suffered a really bad crash last week first thoughts a broken hip/pelvis so back on a bike after a week where we expected him out for a long time , hardly surprising And the Aussies are taking Mason Campton to the U21's and not Brady??? Brady may know his way round OTA but certainly didn't pull up any trees at Worky last week , and. Mason did well in Aussie before the season over here started  Nearly forgot good luck in the next round ;-) Edited May 9, 2014 by Taylorj
Marksman
And the Aussies are taking Mason Campton to the U21's and not Brady??? Â Can't judge Mason on one performance around a track he has rode maybe once or twice a few years back, his actual CMA for this year is 7 so far including a maximum, so from starting on 4.69, can't knock him.

Still Brady for me though. The lad has a very old head on his shoulders. Thinks his races through and reminds me of Darcy when he started. Not knocking Mason but he's not in the same league IMO. Willowman
We'll see your 14 and raise you 16! Against a rated Workington team that was an awesome effort by the Rebels. Josh still knows the quickest way around the OTA but Olly showed him alternate lines on a couple of occassions. Perhaps we are going to have a better season than many predicted. Well done to all the Rebels and commiserations Worky. As we lost out on signing Josh, I'll settle for Pontus as a replacement in the making. Nice one Mr Blobby Didn't see much of their comments on the thread from last Saturday ! Because the job was only partly done and perhaps we were disappointed with the result. We do Believe ;-)After tonights result, perhaps we should too! Â Thats fair enough, I suppose he's doing it the hard way too by starting off riding well at Number 3, when most aussies would get to start off at reserve over here. Good luck to him. Come and get us now with Danny King at our helm.
Lord Lucan
Well, I'm afraid I'm pretty disappointed then!! Â Two men showed up the rest obviously didn't, had a quick look at the scorers on updates and as I had suspected Somerset had no stand out performer just solid all the way through the team!! No real point looking for excuses, panned by a better side, game over for this year? Â Comets need to regroup and try and work out where we go from here, that type of performance simply not acceptable, all it proves is that we were very possibly over hyped at the start of the season and reality has kicked in, that is now two sides we will probably struggle against in the PL, (E,boro the other, so far) so we have serious work to do if we are to "really" offer ourselves as Championship material, no point burying our heads and pretending everything is alright it clearly isn't, some cracks are showing? Â KO Cup gone, LC probably is as well so realistically there is now nothing stopping us going all out for the PL Title, right, no distractions now, but will that be enough will changes need to be made to make that happen, next few weeks are going to be quite interesting!! Â Good Luck you Reb's in the next round, at least your still in the running to have a pot to p*ss in come season's end!!
Fromafar
This Doubling up crap is ruining the PL now,how can you expect fans to keep interest in the sport when you know that half you team is missing vital fixtures.(said as a neutral)

From track side, Ollie Allen was the stand out rider for the home side, fast and used the 1st / 2nd bends to good effect. Only Josh showed up for the Comets, Kyle scored a few but chose some poor lines at times and didn't look fast enough.
GM
Sad to say my pre season prediction that the comets would win nothing is proving right. You need one of your reserves to have a break through season and with Ashley just showing very slow progress but at least it is progress. Our other reserve is only going one way and that's backwards. The comets will win nothing as long as Chris Mills is in the team no potential at all he is finished and last nights 0 0 0 0 would be the final straw for me after his performance's at Newcastle Berwick and Edinburgh. He has bought new equipment but it's made no difference at all still at the back still breaking down. Time to give a young rider a chance who at least has a chance to improve. And don't mention he is a nice guy we know he is but I'm talking about riding a speedway bike.
