Newcastle Drop Rosen....

Recommended Posts

Higher NL average than Lewis Rose, Stevie Worrall, Ollie Greenwood!!

Averages don't mean a thing, I think Rene Bach is better than Edward Kennett but he has a lower average, Even still Sam Masters is better than Bach. And so on :)

And there was me thinking the whole sport depended on averages!!

You are saying Sam is better than Rene Bach?

That's what I like to here!!

So far this season I would say yes but I'm sure other people would have something to say about that

King will be a big hitter in this league maybe 14 or 15

Greenwood I imagine will score 3-5 points when he gets into the swing of things

14+4=18

More than what I think Henry and Rosen would get, still disappointed to see them go though but new things are ahead.

:)

You really have to be on some kind of happy pills👻

Hmmm, no-one would be happier than me if Dan scores 3-5 points, in my opinion if he could find a dam good sponsor it might be possible, he will do well to attain a 3 point average on his current equipment, i dont doubt his enthusiasm is he ready for PL racing? imo no, but thats only my opinion, its a bit of a gamble by the Newcastle promotion they and the supporters will need patience and i admire Dan for believing he is ready for the step up, he is now in his third season since he returned to the Sport and good luck to him however it goes.

It was only a guess from what he had been doing in the NL and on his home track against for example Berwick with Carr or Scunthorpe with Williamson you never know. If you look at what I write I said 'when he gets into the swing of things' I also said '3-5 points'

again in my opinion maybe the word being used is IF rather than when..

He's only 20 surely at some point in the next 20 years of his career he will score 5 points in the PL.

Weather it be this season or in 5 seasons time. :)

You mention Liam Carr, he has done reasonably well with good scores and some poor ones, but Steen Jensen has now hit some kind of form so any deficiencies in Carr`s scoring is been more than made up for by Jensen's scoring. Newcastle need something similar from Greenwood`s fellow reserve.

I only mentioned Carr as someone else who has very little PL experience, I do think he has had a good season, in fact I'm quite surprised with how well he has done.

I'm just digging now aren't I?

I have to agree with greyhoundp, Dan isn't ready to score 3-5 points this season. I'd put him nearer to 2-3 based on Williamson's scoring as I'd say he's only slightly better but more experienced.

To those of you quoting averages: Dan has a new average this year but Worrall, Rose and Greaves are yet to get new figures and Dan's is inflated by having ridden one of his 4 meetings against Scunthorpe.

Is Dan better than Greaves? Maybe in the short-term he's more likely to stay on the bike for 4 laps, but Greaves has more potential.
