Marksman
Could Glasgow not fit either in for Lemon? Would improve them quite a bit...... Â Yes both, Henry for Lemon would bring them to exactly 42.50. Â Looks like Newcastle will have 14.29 points to play with... What is the rate for conversion from EL to PL? Â Multiply by 1.
Tsunami
It's a number game, and sometimes sacrifices have to be made. Â I remember the Somerset promotion coming all sorts of criticsm when we chopped Sam Masters in 2012 before going on to lose the title by a single point on aggregate, and then chopping Nielsen last year which ultimately was the key to us becoming league and cup champions. Â Sometimes it's a risk worth taking, although I'm surprised it was Rosen to go and not Lindgren. Â As someone has already said, It had to be done. Everyone was wondering why the fancied team assembled was not performing, and saying someone should be dropped. Well the promotion has decided, and we have a team to believe in for the rest of the season. League Cup gone. Premiership gone, and only the KOC and the PL and Play Offs. That'll do for me. Fair comment - from the big hints given already, cuts have to be made somewhere to allow for someone of Danny Kings calibre.
SCB
Multiply by 1.6 Why do speedway fans continue this one. It's not 1.6. It's 0.6 you either multiply by 0.6 or divide by 0.6. you can't change it by making it 1.60. Â So if it's true they're getting a big name, thats going to leave 3 3 pointers in the team. Very long tail.
spin king
Is it Danny King they are briniing in then or are they not revealing who the new rider/riders are going to be.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Got to be danny king and maybe someone like Stefan nielsen Don't think that combination would fit. fred
If it was to be an out and out number one and a three pointer will it make them stronger?Points you might gain from the number one will surely be cancelled out by having a very long tail. HadrianDog
Quite surprised at the changes but then someone had to go, it's what most fans wanted as the present team is just not firing so far. Everyone had a different rider marked out for the drop, but it appears to be a double swop. To be fair Rosen has not been at his best this year, and has not brought that quality to the team that we thought possible. I do hope he gets fixed up to give him that chance to move forward as a rider, and to be someone's number 1. Newcastle are usually loyal to their riders, and I will be interested to see the general comments for doing what the fans have been asking for. Remember with a couple of bad meetings Somerset, Redcar and now Worky, the fans were not happy, and now the Promotion has responded and I think we will hear who Anton and Christians replacements are tomorrow. Robbo, Kerr, Rose and Ludde are all now doing the business, so the new riders along with Schrammy, have the job of saving the season. Remember it is only a couple of weeks ago that fans were saying the it's May and the end of the season for us. Time will tell, but I personally think that changes have been made and were needed. Â Needed, yes most certainly, but still a shock to see a young up and coming rider like Rosen dropped. Seems to me more a mathematically influenced drop in order to fit in an specific rider whom the management have already had put pen to paper. Is Henry perceived to have lost something since his injury I wonder.
