Belle Vue Aces V King's Lynn Stars 12/05/14

Recommended Posts

In a situation like this, say Belle Vue are in need of a guest for their injured rider Lee Payne, and bearing in mind they have just change him in the FTR arrangement, cant they get a guest for the rating of Ben Reade or has it now got to be governed by Lee Payne standing???????

We can only get a guest for whoever is in our officially declared 1-7. Which Payne is meaning we only can have a choice of 2 guest's (matt williamson or freemantle)

It's just one of them unfortunate risks that has backfired on us. Hopefully Payne will be fully fit soon

So if Williamson and Freemantle weren't available they would have to go with just one Reserve ?

This is one of the areas where the FTR system fails. Probably, there could be, or could've been, a pool of 5/6 riders, all of equal ability, free to guest in situations like this.

It seem lack of thought means teams like BV have little choice who to pick, and that can't be right.........

I guess we will find that out when it happens. Lol

What's the weather expected tomorrow. Have thought about going, but am worried about the prevailing rain. Would there be a inspection or a early call-off if necessary .?

What's the forecast like up there ? Please....

forecast is for it to be dry and bright but theres been lots and lots of rain over the last two days and with city winning the league and having a parade on monday that could have a big effect on the gate, an early call off???

Been some heavy showers over the weekend but today wasn't as bad as expected, there was some sunshine inbetween the showers and has been a strong wind. Depends what it is like during the night, don't think it will take too much more rain. Tomorrow forecast is better but with the chance of some showers.

Blue skies now and drying quickly.

apparently track held up not bad but does depend on any more rain. Hopefully it won't be to bad.

It was isolated showers this morning. Let's hope it missed the track

We have had no rain for 4 hours. So why was it not called off at 9 this morning after the rain or wait till later on as riders are already flying now.

Unless we had to wait for a bspa official to call it off which we didn't for swindon

There was some heavy rain showers yesterday and some more in early hours but this morning been ok. If track was bad should have called it off first thing this morning before riders started flying in. Last thing we needed as I can see us struggling to fit in home meetings before the cut off
