DSC67
Looks like the speedway gods don't want to let Proctor make his debut for the Tigers , third time lucky any one ?
psycho3a
Good decision then not making the effort.. We have had loads more rain in last 48 hours than last week and they made a early decision last week.. Why wait as forecast was dreadful ?? Robinh88
I'm sure owlerton would have been a sellout with the tigers fielding gp sensation ty proctor tonight. With all this fuss about him he best be decent

Blackadder
Good decision then not making the effort.. We have had loads more rain in last 48 hours than last week and they made a early decision last week.. Why wait as forecast was dreadful ?? Had a lot more rain last Wednesday night into Thursday than we have had this week, and the BBC forecast for tonight was no more rain after about 6pm. If that had been the case, the meeting would have started at 8pm, but the rain returned and racing was not possible. Looks like a wasted journey for us. We're almost at Nottingham Were you the chap who was asking if it would be ok to use your ticket for the Rye House match in 2 weeks?

We'll be back in a couple of weeks (weather permitting)Can't blame the Sheffield promotion for attempting to get the meeting on. It was only a sudden shower on a bladed track that forced the abandonment.
spin king
Have to say that it was nice of Dick Barrie to come out onto the mic and say a few kind words for the Sheffield fans and Promotion.

That is showing something that our sport generally lacks: professionalism, well done Dick.

spin king
Thankfully very few words They were mate, but still very much appreciated especially with the stick and the negative comments made towards the Promotion over the last week or so. Halifordukesfan
Who's Dick Barrie ? and while we're on the subject of talking to the fans, why did Shaun Leigh leave it till after the announcement that the meeting was off, to introduce Ty Proctor to the fans, When will he learn to fill in the long periods of delays, by talking to the riders ? Once the meeting was postponed I was off, I'm not waiting in the car park queues to exit the stadium, even though the queues would have been shorter last night due to the abysmal crowd.
