Charlieboy
From whats being posted on here I think we can expect it to be r/r for roynon as they sanctioned it for the first leg and situation not changed or NL guest at worst.Dont expect proctor to get visa problems sorted before tomorrow or any time soon. R/R for Roynon was against the rules last Saturday, and will be against the rules on Thursday if it happens, Roynon is not injured, it was Sheffields choice to sack him, therefore they should not receive any facility.

I agree with what your saying but the situation hasn't changed i.e. Visa problems, sacking roynon etc so how can their decision be different ? B.S.P.A. got it wrong Saturday and unless the rules have changed since then they have set a precedence. But this is speedway so they will do what they want.Embarrassing !!!!!!!!! Sheffield shouldn't have had r/r on Sat never mind tomorrow they sacked Adam before getting it fully sorted for Proctor. Thursday tomorrow, cutting it short to get things in place for Sunday too .No facility should be given . B4E this is the first and last you will ever hear me say it , haha !! but I hope Berwick go and stuff Sheffield , they deserve the win much more

OdsalBoy
genuine question, If Proctor does not get the green light to ride for Sheffield, and Sheffield have already relieved Roynon of his Duties, what happens next ? Do we dig our Richard Halls mobile number ?

Ned Kelly 41
ty proctor named at number 5 for the meeting v berwick Means nothing, mate. He was named at No 5 for last week's rained-off meeting, and he was named at No 2 for the Saturday match. Sheffield really don't get it, do they? Icicle
He may be named, but does he have visa yet? If not, he has not yet ridden for Sheff, so no R/R but NL replacement? It should be..but...

Just because the BSPA got it wrong last Saturday doesn't mean they have to get it wrong again this evening, to be fair to the BSPA they have been put in this position by Sheffield Speedway and their hilarious attempt to replace Roynon with Proctor. Sheffield have had ample time to replace Roynon with another rider, if the Proctor move was looking doubtful, infact they could reinstate Roynon if they so wished. screm
ty proctor named at number 5 for the meeting v Berwick Seems there`s a meeting this morning to thrash this out.
Tigerish
Seems to me that Berwick are running scared of the team with Proctor in it, or is that just the fans?
Boobs
Weather forecast gives heavy rain in Sheffield this morning, clearing to a dry evening. If Proctor is allowed to ride, track should be fine. If not, track will be waterlogged. (Just been told Adam Roynon announced as new Plymouth signing in Devon newspapers -- which must surely screw up any hope of Sheffield using r/r for him from now on) Edited May 8, 2014 by Boobs

The SAINT
That won't stop em trying he can't 'sign' for them till the sheffield/speedway-in-general issue (re work permits/visa's) saga is resolved ..., therefore his is still in the 'declared' sheffield 1-7 (until the new team is ratified) , therefore r/r is the ruling Edited May 8, 2014 by The SAINT
