Red Panda
We are all waiting for Poole to drop down.. Never gonna happen..............lol  If Bournemouth had stayed around they would have been PL by now.............sadly it was not financially viable to have two teams at Poole..............  RP
orderly
May be the name of this thread should read " Who is the most disliked or mistrusted promotion in the Premier League" then some of the riders can take part ... TMW
06 was the last one on the eve of Cardiff . That was the night Cockle had a swing at Joel Parsons after heat 14 . And in heat 15 the stewards were called to the referee's box after Jim McGregor excluded Carl Wilkinson . Then Shane Parker had a brick thrown at him by a member of the crowd as he celebrated victory . Those nights are sadly missed No wonder everyone says therr is no atmosphere at meetings anymore that is extraordinary

Rockets
Rye house v mildenhall was always something special as was hackney v Ipswich in the mid - late seventies. The away fans always seemed so unreasonable.
Shadders
We weren't much liked in our PL days, mainly due I think to our often enormous home wins (don't miss those) and JC getting on people's wicks. Used to enjoy the rivalry with Rye House and all the Lynn fans congregating in the first bend at Hoddesdon. Some tremendous clashes between the two sides at Rye. Same can't be said about the return fixtures at the NA, except for one early season meeting (can't recall the year, may be 2007) when we came very close to a win there, Danny King scoring around 17 points. There was another occasion when we came very close with Leigh Lanham as our guest, (again, can't remember the year), but mostly it was heavy defeats, so bad that I stopped going for the last couple of years that KL were in the PL. Gemini
That only really happened down there in the latter years . The meeting we used to have with them the night before Cardiff was my favourite meeting of the season . What a shame all that is lost I can't remember which year it was but I daren't look at half of the racing during one Newport v Glasgow match as the riders didn't seem able to get round the first bend without trying to send the opposition into the fence. I bought the video later to watch the match.

Gemini
2003 I think, especially with Smart, Stancl and Grieves on bend 3/4 More than likely but I can't retain the majority of Speedway memories these days. Wasn't there a problem getting the meeting finished because it had taken so long and Newport didn't have any lights? That seems to ring a bell.
