What Pl Team Is Most Disliked?

Recommended Posts

look, if crowds cant even exceed 1,000, who really cares eh?

the less than a thousand hardy souls obviously

Well, this has turned out to be a disappointing thread to read....

I expected Edinburgh to be declared the villains of the PL due to us having the BSPA boss manipulating everything in our favour :D

No , we are all just in awe of the Monarchs' greatness

Pointless thread, PL is the Premier League for speedway. I look forward to seeing every club coming to Rye House i wish there were more local clubs to us to liven things up like in the days of Mildenhall and Hackney.

So pointless that you've commented on it though.

We weren't much liked in our PL days, mainly due I think to our often enormous home wins (don't miss those) and JC getting on people's wicks. Used to enjoy the rivalry with Rye House and all the Lynn fans congregating in the first bend at Hoddesdon.

I would no go so far as to say I hate a team, but the team that I am not that keen of at the moment is Newcastle, always like it when we beat them.

Team that were recently in the Premier League that I did not like are Leicester and Stoke.

The Stoke matches were always very fired up and you could usually guarantee some fireworks, really do miss that fixture.

Newport were never big favourites with Glasgow home or away. Usually a punch-up at some point during the meeting. :o:cheers:

That only really happened down there in the latter years . The meeting we used to have with them the night before Cardiff was my favourite meeting of the season . What a shame all that is lost

I can remember that 2003, 2006 and 07 were a bit feisty but I always looked forward to that meeting on the night before the GP :t:

06 was the last one on the eve of Cardiff . That was the night Cockle had a swing at Joel Parsons after heat 14 . And in heat 15 the stewards were called to the referee's box after Jim McGregor excluded Carl Wilkinson . Then Shane Parker had a brick thrown at him by a member of the crowd as he celebrated victory . Those nights are sadly missed

Aye but even 2007 on a sunday afternoon still involved some fisticuffs between McAllan and Rajkowski from memory.
