TMW
His FB confirmed it was broken on his way home. I suppose the couple of weeks off should help. Feel for Cradley though

Shale Searcher
Unlucky for Tom, promoters can't get much sleep these days with riders guesting/doubling-up and even trebleing up in some cases!! I know that word is dodgy, just went with android predictive!! Get well soon Tom.

weatherwatcher
The Lions are really having a bad time with injuries. It is only the start of the season and now we have 3 riders that are on the injured list.
Shale Searcher
Well, 2 anyway, the third one, well the Swedish League has started, keep your eye on the team's and who's riding for them....... Shale Searcher
Peter Ljung rode for Rzeszow on Sunday and scored 9+2, miracle cures over there then.....! Why didn't he just say he didn't want to ride anymore in the UK?
Gemini
Hate being messed around by foreign riders claiming they're injured but still ride for their own team. That's why I'm in favour of the new draft system as at least it has got rid of a few dodgy ones.
mdmc82
The only people who like the draft system are the cheats Kings Lynn and Lakeside who put ringers at reserve. Let's hope none of them win the league as they wouldn't deserve it. Loving our reserves at Coventry )2 lots of 5-1 against lakeside last night) 100% effort every time and great partnership Hate being messed around by foreign riders claiming they're injured but still ride for their own team. That's why I'm in favour of the new draft system as at least it has got rid of a few dodgy ones. Can add Ward to the list of riders who favour riding elsewhere over UK when meant to be injured

It's at times like this that I wished we'd had MK again this year he was a Lion through and through but sadly a new era required new riders.....
SCB
Speedway rider makes comeback from injury shocker what did you expect him to do? Only ride for Leicester? He has to make a comeback at some point.
flagrag
It seems to be that Ljung has only ever been on a short term contract with Leicester until Swedish league started and then said he would decide whether he wanted to continue with the UK. Â I expect that he has rode his last match for the Lions and that he will be replaced soon luckily Leicester do not have any fixtures for a couple of weeks. Shale Searcher
Would Ljung have to have some sort of sicknote for us to be able to use a guest? Or is his word good enough.......?
Happy Hunter
It would be nice to have something on the LIon's web site about the progress that the injured riders are making. Deafening silence about Tom Perry. Now see report on Lions web site http://leicesterlions.co/tom-breaks-his-collarbone/ Edited May 7, 2014 by Happy Hunter

He has to make a comeback at some point. The rumours doing the rounds at BP sadly indicate. It's not that cut and dried but I always like to wait for official word
