semion
I see no reason why Poole cant use Kutz or even ship Jack Holder to ride at reserve. The League is all theirs anyway. So what difference does it make how many points they win it by. Poole are to British Speedway what Bayern are to the Bundesliga.
waiheke1
Because there is absolutely nothing to say. Smart has retired from Speedway so Poole are using a guest until their signing is fit again to race. Â Â If he has retired, his twitter comments wiuld indicate that this was because he was sacked by poole? surely this makes your argument redundant. If compton is your new signing, surely he needed to be declared BEFORE he moved above smart on the drsft list?

No smoke without fire otherwise.
John Leslie
Well why has the re declared side not been officially published then? The new declarations from 1 May are published on the BSPA website. Smart is still in the 1-7 regardless of what Shovlar thinks.

I have to say Steve that post has got to be the best one you've ever done & your loyalty or naivety towards Poole has to be applauded. Â Did Lee retire 2 weeks ago when he was sacked before the Belle Vue meeting or after the meeting he then came back in for?. Â Funny how now Poole are saying Lee was replaced in time to sign Benji but nothing was reported anywhere. The new declarations from 1 May are published on the BSPA website. Smart is still in the 1-7 regardless of what Shovlar thinks. That has to be wrong surely as even the Bournemouth Echo didn't report that Lee was sacked 2 weeks ago & they NEVER miss a Poole story!!!

Keep up CR its in tomorrow's Echo, and quoted earlier today!! Â Poole notified the BSPA on 25th April that Smart was to be replaced by Compton, who had agreed to sign for Poole. Compton injured his finger at Lakeside that same night and then broke his scaphoid over that weekend. The redeclaration therefore did not go through so Smart stayed in the 1-7 but was unavailable to slot back in for the BV meeting on the Monday (He can't do Mondays). Smart rode again on the Wednesday and then chose not to ride again for either Poole or Devon and has retired from speedway!! Â Poole will use guest replacements (as there is no r/r for reserves) from the FT list below Smart until Compton is fully fit and MF will re-evaluate at that time. So - just so I've got it clear (and everyone else), it means that Compton can't replace Smart now as he's above him in the draft?

Dunno - he wasn't on 25th April, presumably when Compton signed his contract and texted it to the BSPA!!

YerRopes
To be honest, the winning of the EL these days is equivalent to winning the School Sport's Day sack race for 'put upon' fathers.. Â Only sad fat blokes from Dorset, (who can't mange to get to the Train Station regularly enough) seem to give a toss.. Â BTW... what a shocking way to treat poor Lee Smart (and all the post/subsequent bollocks from deepest/darkest too).. Â Poole Speedway - you are a blight on the EL

Well you would say that, but when your club has won it 5, make it 6 this year, times then, you'l have something to crow about.. In the meantime, your playing catch up, big time..  Perhaps, I should just cut a hole in the bottom of the sack (a la Pirates) and then run like f**k.... hoping no one else will notice Oh..  All in the best interests of 'winning at all costs' of course..

Jonny the spud
Bloody hell. Is there any talk about the match or is it just a load of anoraks bitching ?
SCB
Bloody hell. Is there any talk about the match or is it just a load of anoraks bitching ? Why talk about the match? It's hardly a fair sporting contest is it? If you can't play fair why bother.
