bigeddiechek
This isn't a criticism of any particular riders but a7 point average from your Top man on paper isn't going to get you far.Winning vital races is more important.take Kus on Sat had 3 wins but 2 poor rides he rode to his average if it had been a tight match it might have made the difference, you surely have to beat opposition reserves when you are on form.for a lot of riders Home form keeps their "average". Averages don't mean a lot to me ,but again that is just an opinion.Cook at Edinburgh is an example of how to really ride to your average when it is a meaningful target, not 6or7 points a meeting which is relatively easy for a so called Heat Leader. On another note must congratulate the Berwick Track Staff for track prep this season it has been excellent IMO . Are you sure averages don't mean a lot to you? I agree with the other posts on here that we have gone for the strength in depth approach. If Steen moves up, then look at who replaces him. Wethers, Bellego, Kus, Doolan? Erm, I wouldn't do any tinkering with that at all. Fine as it it is thank you!
