Racin Jason 72
Really pleased to see Adam fixed up and Plymouth now seem to have a good solid side that should win at home.

DexterBeauregarde
Having started this thread off and created quite a debate I feel that it is only right that I respond to the last few days news. The club have reacted to the critisism and concern shown by the paying fans, and those who have stopped going and reacted by bringing in an exciting rider in place of a struggling reserve. I hope that the fans do return because they have shown a commitment to us and we should all gather together and show them our thanks through the turnstiles. Equally I am sure we all wish Ben Reade all the best, it is such a shame that he was not competitive this year although he did try hard he just couldnt get the points.

mikebaker
Do any Devils fans know what is happening with the Alex Davies scenario. Simota was signed as a replacement due to Alex's visa problems. Have the Promotion given up on this, and is Simota being retained. lewy
No information has been released but i dont think we will see him at plymouth this season and simota is being retained
Vincent Vega
Wish Adam Roynon all the best at Plymouth. Hope he has an injury free season and turns into a top PL rider as he deserves it after all the bad luck he has had in recent years.
4thbender
I do hope Adam can stay clear of injury and fulfill all the promise he showed at Sheffield. Plymouth fans can rest assured they've got a good 'un.
torpointfanatic22
We do indeed look a very good side on paper now. Amazing what one signing can do!
greyhoundp
I advocated that Plymouth sign Royno last season but it never happened, however better late than never not only have you got a good rider, but you have added a great personality to the team, great with supporters and sponsors alike, just dont expect him to come in and score double points reguarly to begin with, give him time and you have yourself an entertainer, and a potential match winner if anyone deserves some luck Adam and Plymouth do, and success for both could go hand in hand.. but i repeat give him a little time to get his confidence back. I really wish i lived a little nearer than what i do, but i will definately be down to watch at some stage this season, originally i was going to come and watch a NL meeting, but now i will have to watch a Devils meeting also, good luck for the rest of the season.
lewy
Plymouth progress in the koc,can we beat the monarchs on saturday?
Mike Baxendale
Great result for the devils tonight. Saturday will be tough against the Monarchs but there is an air of optimism and expectation at the SBA now so lets hope to keep it rolling
DW
May not help them much on Saturday if both of their reserves are missing, although Fricke will be missing for Edinburgh
ancient mariner
didn't Dad ride there? Yes indeed, 1968-70. For more info see the Devils website here: http://plymouthdevils.co/home.html Select the History tab and then Rider Index. Chris features about half way down the 1931 - 2005 section of the index. Try this link. http://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/Roynon-returns-Devils-place-Reade/story-21071899-detail/story.html Plymouth. Barker, 9.19. Roynon, 7.09. Jensen,6.39. Katajisto, 5.46. Simota, 5.20. Newman, 5.18. Benko, 3.24. = 41.75. This news has made the Ancient Mariner a very happy bunny! A stronger main body and at any one given time a powerful reserve who can score plenty of points, taking a lot of the pressure off Roland Benko who we already know can score well at home. All round a much better balance to the team. And now the Devils progress in the PLKOC for the first time ever. So the Ancient Mariner's cup doth truly runneth over What would round off a very good day rather nicely, would be for the earlier stone throwers on this thread (there are possibly 4 of them that in particular spring to mind and I'm sure they know who they are) to post again, stating if they think the Devils promotion are still asleep and if so, why.
