Edinburgh Vs Scunthorpe (pl) 2/5/14

Recommended Posts

Pity Steve was not available because he wanted to spanner for Richie in Poland . Did Worrall manage a team place in the Polish leagues cos I would like to check out his progress via the S. Star if I knew his team.

Sure he signed for Daugavils. Heard he's done a few 'friendlies' for them, but from what I've seen hasn't raced for Daugavils in any league meetings as of yet

You know you are s**t when Fox gets 3 + 2 against you. :P

I'm not really sure why you would say that, smiley or no smiley. Presumably you haven't seen Aaron ride?

In his two matches prior to tonight he had scored paid 13, he's a good gater and steady rider. Amongst riders he has beaten so far are Bellego, Jensen, Kus, Harrison, Berge, Howe, Birks, Wolbert, some more than once.

Richie IS signed for Daugavpils this season. They have only done 2 league meetings so far and he hasn't been selected for either of them...although one might suggest that he would have been a better choice than Pepe Franc in the match at Bydgoszcz...

Steve seems to be doing quite well at the Dale so if helping his bro was really his reason for signing for a Friday night club in the Premier League, things seem to have worked out fairly well for him :D

Aaron was looking a lot better last night, I think he's shown a steady improvement so far this season. He sounded a lot more upbeat in his wee chat with Scott during the meeting last night as well. Keep it up I say :)

There will be very few if any teams that will run Edinburgh close at home, makes our effort look good ;) Well done to Theo and Mason outscoring the scorps as guests.. Theo has had a tough start to the season mechanical wise so will be happy getting the points. I think Edinburgh on current form will win more than a few away meetings too....ah the memories :) Enjoy monarchs fans, just hope we don't win the wooden spoon again ! Don't think we will though .

Can I ask how many times you have seen Auty ride this year to make this statement?

Over the years he hasn't changed, when behind he has a habit of leaving his brain in the toolbox & collects riders with predictably rash moves.

Easier than expected all the boys were on top form tonight.

Shame there is no meeting next week though as Sheffield have decided not to bother seeing as Proctor is missing must fancy their chances with them riding then. Will be slightly disappointed when they do come up then.

With Swindon being at Coventry next Friday we'd have been without Worrall presumably? So maybe not a bad thing having no match.

Ah yes forgot ours was going to be a rearranged match

Not sure what will happen if we potentially get Sheffield in the league cup semi and they also get past Berwick in the ko cup and the rearranged fixture at Ipswich, could cause a bit of a headache with Swindon racing on Thursdays.
