Fozzie4388
The new averages come in to play for both sides which means Fox goes down to reserve with Sedgmen moving to number 2 position. For the Scorpions Jorgensen goes down to reserve with Douglas slotting in at Number 3. Jorgensen however won't be apart of this meeting due to the Danish Semi-final's the same night, Workington's Mason Campton will ride in his place at Number 7. Not sure who will be riding for Scunthorpe at number 1 it's yet to have been announced whether it will be R/R/Guest or Josh Auty (If the new rumoured signing has been signed) Edited April 29, 2014 by Superstar1
Mr Blobby
So we try again for our first PL home meeting this time it's Scunthorpe we welcome to the dale. Monarchs should be at full strength but there is a change in the riding order with Aaron Fox dropping t reserve and Justin Sedgmen moving into the main body of the the team. Scunthorpe will operate R/R for the injured Anders Mellgren, Ryan Douglas will now move up into the main body of the team with Thomas Jorgensen moving to reserve he will be missing through danish commitments and will be replaced by Mason Campton. Scunthopre have riders in Howe, Birks that usually go well round our place and the inform Douglas so should be a close one. Edit: Pijper guesting for Mellgren Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Max Fricke Derek Sneddon Sam Masters Aaron Fox Stevie Worrall Scunthorpe Theo Pijper (G) David Howe Ryan Douglas Ashley Birks Josh Auty Matt Williamson Mason Campton (G) Edited May 1, 2014 by Mr Blobby
screm
Interesting to see how Fox gets on a reserve, think its fair to say he has struggled at times when in the No2 position, he now has the chance to get scoring.
Mr Blobby
This one could be closer than expected with Pijper riding at number 1 instead of R/R for Mellgren now. Scunthorpe now have riders in Theo, Howe and birks all capable of winning races round the dale. Need to be on the top of our game if we want to take all 3 points tomorrow. scunny1
Thanks to our two guests for your useful contributions, as for our own team members-what the F*** is going on, 15 points between you all is not good enough!!! Another team talk from Rob is required and sorry Matt, its a season too soon for you.
EC Rides Again
Thanks to our two guests for your useful contributions, as for our own team members-what the F*** is going on, 15 points between you all is not good enough!!! Another team talk from Rob is required and sorry Matt, its a season too soon for you. I think others should take a look at themselves before Matt. As I said earlier today I think that Josh and Ash have been poor apart from odd flashes so far this season. The two guests saved us from a real embarrassment, thanks Theo and Mason. Only silver linings are that the Monarchs will score even more points at home this year, they are the team to beat in 2014. Also we did better than Ipswich managed at Somerset tonight! Dekker
Expected more from scunny, solid scoring down the line from all 7 Monarchs,. bonus no one injured by Auty who seemingly was too slow. Edited May 2, 2014 by Dekker

SCOTLAND1314
A bit one sided tonight but nonetheless there were a few cameo rides. Heat 4 the move by Stevie Worrall on the first turn to take Auty and Campton wide was a lovely move and Sam took advantage of the gap to pop through into the lead. Heat 7 good determined ride by Sam to finally see off a good Birks 2 or 3 lap challenge. Heat 10 was the race of the night for me and although Douglas finished his race in an untidy heap on the last bend he definitely deserved more for his efforts. Seemingly from nowhere he popped out the start and rode a fantastic 3 and 3/4 laps whilst Cookie was tripping over himself for a couple of laps and finally sorted himself out on the last lap ... lining Douglas up coming out of turn 1/2 that resulted in Cookie charging hard under Douglas on turn 3/4 ... there didn't appear to be contact but perhaps Douglas moved off line and found the fence fast approaching. Great race and good to see Douglas pick himself up. Heat 13 Theo gated on Cookie but sucummbed to another 3/4 bend inside pass from Cookie. It was also nice to see Cookie team riding and from where I was viewing, he seemed to be pushing his partners to go faster whilst riding shotgun. Good night's work. HadrianDog
Pity Steve was not available because he wanted to spanner for Richie in Poland . Did Worrall manage a team place in the Polish leagues cos I would like to check out his progress via the S. Star if I knew his team.
Mr Blobby
Easier than expected all the boys were on top form tonight. Shame there is no meeting next week though as Sheffield have decided not to bother seeing as Proctor is missing must fancy their chances with them riding then. Will be slightly disappointed when they do come up then.
