Recommended Posts

No way will Edinburgh win.

We are the Panthers.

Thanks for that prediction, as Jenga says you have become the voice of doom for the panthers, keep up the good work :t:

P.S. LG where is Peterborough is it in Yorkshire ?:rofl:

Was told last night by Mick Horton that he has concerns about how the track will be for this meeting, as the showground has Truck fest this weekend and the track man won't have to much time to prepare it.

Could be a gating competition after a weekend of trucks and bikes running round etc turning shale to dust.

That's just unreal.

A health & safety issue it says.

From their website.............

PETERBOROUGH have been forced to postpone their eagerly-awaited Premier League showdown against Edinburgh tonight (Tuesday).

The East of England Showground clash has been called off due to a healthy and safety issue which is unlikely to be resolved today.

Co-promoter Trevor Swales said: "It is a very unfortunate situation and we are absolutely gutted that we cannot race tonight.

"It is no-one's fault but a health and safety issue has arisen and we don't expect to be able to rectify it in a matter of hours.

The showground tweeted it was off at 9.55am - before the Panthers tweeted about it still being on at 10am. Something odd about this call off. Let's hope people don't get too used to watching Swedish league on a Tuesday eh?

I am not in the least surprised - historically there has frequently been problems following Truckfest - rain overnight possibly wouldn't have helped but would rather have an early call off.

I agree, Truckfest is the likely problem here or rather the usual mess they have left the Showground in.

Just been advised that the meeting is off due to a disagreement between stadium and Peterborough speedway. On train, gutted

That is not the case.

Maybe that is not the correct reason that Scotchopper has used but remember he is on a train on the way to peterborough, try and show alittle sympathy for the people on their way down there, wouldnt cost you much

This Horton guy seems to have trouble with tracks, eh?

Coventry at the ELRC, now Peterboro when the league leaders are in town.

So what exactly is the Health & Safety issue?

Is it Ryan Fisher?

I am a "Fish" supporter but this is funny
