orderly
Stead has dropped 0.04 points Roynon has dropped 0.72 points Nielsen has dropped 0.21 points But Poole has dropped a massive 1.55 points. So why not take a closer look at Taylor Poole's performance. Before I get shouted down and told that Roynon has dropped 2+ points per meeting these figures where taken from the BSPA site and are the sign on green sheet averages and the GSA that take effect on 01/05/2014

Dcb7
To be fair, they might be looking at Poole's performances.

The Promotion have obviously taken the view that Ty Proctor is a rider who could have an impact n the team. And the Promotion have said that Adam had not done anything wrong but they felt that bringing in Ty will strengthen the team. My personal view is that Adam has not had the impact that we thought he would, but I think he would have got there eventually given a little more time, and I would have given the lad that time. But if you had been to every home meeting like me and the likes of Tiger Owl for th last two seasons we have witnessed our team been humped so many times and the crowds had dwindled alarmingly and the one thing that the club needs more than anything else is a side that is strong at home, and the signing of Ty Proctor will probably do just that. As for Adam, he is a really nice guy, good rider and was, is and always will be very popular with the Sheffield fans and will always get a warm welcome at Sheffield and wish him all the best for the future.

mythman666
Roynon always seems to get fixed up when he is without a club. As for signing Proctor in his place it potentially makes the Tigers a much stronger side as an on form Ty Proctor will be a better rider. Also proves that the new Promotion of Sheffield will not be tolerating poor scores....harsh maybe but true!
smod
Starting to make sense now. Scunthorpe need a 7 pointer. So the club that is allegedly part owned by the Scunny promoter releases a 7 pointer for him to join Scunthrope. Sheffield now Scunthorpes feeder team? Interesting theory. If (that's if) Adam Roynon turns up at Scunthorpe next week, do the MC just rubber-stamp it? Because dual-ownership in the same league is a no-no in virtually all professional sports for obvious reasons.

Maybe Adam will get fixed up now he is without a club but why should he always be the fall guy, or maybe add to his future contracts " Signed for the club but only until we find a better rider or a rider in the team fails to achieve in either case you will be replaced". And as for the new Promotion of Sheffield proving that they will not be tolerating poor scores....harsh maybe but very far from true! Roynon down by 0.72 Poole down by 1.55 points That's 0.97 points more than the rest of the team

Could they have fitted Proctor in place of Poole instead?
screm
Also proves that the new Promotion of Sheffield will not be tolerating poor scores....harsh maybe but true! I`m sure that other promotion must be looking at their riders, particularly with their poor scores, and least I hope they would be.
Charlieboy
As we all know its a numbers game and unfortunately for adam its his average alone that makes way for Proctor. If the promotion leave it till june then proctor will possibly be unavailable and our options limited.I feel very sorry for adam because he is so unlucky with injuries but is exciting to watch.Good luck to him. clambo71
Bit of a underhand move by Sheffield, surprised at Proctor he should know how it feels when Somerset stood on him from a large height . Nice to see Nielsen dropping to reserve though just in time for our PL meeting next weekend A slightly different scenario,Roynon being replaced for underperforming, Proctor being sacked without being given the chance to perform. It's due to rolling averages that his average has only dropped by 0.
Najjer
This move hardly comes as a surprise - it was said in Josh Bates' interview after winning the Under 21s how he wanted to thank Ty Proctor for all his help blah blah blah.. so it comes as no surprise when promotor Bates introduces him at the expense of Adam Roynon because of who the family friend is. All very ironic for Proctor....
Pirate Nick
A slightly different scenario,Roynon being replaced for underperforming, Proctor being sacked without being given the chance to perform. You could equally argue that Ty was dropped for under performing in the matches he did ride.

Former devil
Ok the meetings he rode in. But they were elite league, so not really a true comparison and he was just getting back into it after a lengthy injury. spin king
But they were elite league, so not really a true comparison and he was just getting back into it after a lengthy injury. Actually I think they were Benefit meetings and Testimonial meetings.
Former devil
Actually I think they were Benefit meetings and Testimonial meetings. But not premier league meetings and like i said he was coming back from a lengthy injury, which takes most riders awhile to get back to full fitness.
