Adam Roynon Dropped By Sheffield

Recommended Posts

proctor in.what a shame for adam. whats the point of getting new gear and then lose your job after 1 month. who evers in charge at sheffield need a good kicking... sheffield will do well to get any riders signed on in 2015 if thats the way they treat human beings.

Adam Roynon dropped by Sheffield.

Replaced by Ty Proctor. Confirmed by Peter Adams on radio WM prior to Wolves match earlier. Don't know what it does for Sheffield but will certainly help Wolves. He'll be on a 600cc on the 22nd of next month at Somerset :P

He's dumped his Swedish fixtures apparently so as to be available for the Tigers.

Post down to the usual standard I see, Sheffield Speedway should do whatever it takes to get their team winning more. If by dropping Roynon they achieve that then they are on to a winner, if it doesn't work out then they will be hit financially at the turnstiles.

Well if this is true I know three supporters who won't be going to Owlerton for the rest of the season!

What a way to run a team, so much for the new owners being in touch with what the fans think.

Thought you were a good bloke Mr Bates - sorry but if you've done this you're anything but!

Think I'd rather have Roynon.

Agreed. Proctor isn't going to get much more than 7, Adam should be nudging 8 by the end of the season. Odd move IMO. It's almost as if they've gone, "we have two points to play with, we must use them".

Disgraceful way to treat a loyal rider. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! I only hope that Adam get's himself at another club as soon as possible, and somewhere that appreciates his work.

Thought he could be a long term investment for Sheffield and have Adam riding round Owlerton for a long while. We'd be lucky now to ever see him ride in a Sheffield race jacket again.
