Gavan
The Poole track has a couple of bumps/holes/ruts going into turns 1 and 3. They've been there a long time and as Josh G states in the local rag today - it mainly helps the home riders as they know where they are plus any away riders who bother to be professional and take notes from all their previous visits. Many riders comment about the amount and type of shale which governs how much the track can/should be watered prior to and during a meeting - taking account of the weather conditions/forecasts! The main moans are to do with consistency of surface from one meeting to the next - its one of the bugbears (or benefits depending on your point of view) of being on the sunshine south coast!! totally fair comment. tis the usual one we are aiming the comments at who states Poole is one of the best prepared tracks in the country when it quite clearly isnt. Im sure you will get Coventry and Belle Vue fans admitting their tracks are not the best at the moment. Its the blinkeredness of the so called person that gets everyones back up. What a grovelling post. no what its called is having respect for other peoples points of view. Answering their questions and generally having a debate. E l Addio had a little dig at me but its called a debate. try it sometime Tbh the only dirt I could see was on 4th bend, so not sure how Gavan says it's a ploughed field!! ploughed field = bumpy and ruts Edited April 30, 2014 by Gavan
Steve Shovlar
totally fair comment. tis the usual one we are aiming the comments at who states Poole is one of the best prepared tracks in the country when it quite clearly isnt. Where have I said Poole is one of the best prepared tracks in the country? You are lying and making things up to suit your posts. I said Poole has some of the best racing in the EL. It's a great circuit and so far this year it has produced excellent meetings. There's no disputing that as the Coventry meeting was on Sky and everybody raved about it afterwards. The meetings between Coventry and Swindon produced great racing. Hopefully tonight will be as good but there's no guarantee. Sorry if you don't like it that Poole produces entertaining meetings. stevebrum
One of the best race tracks in the EL. Just watch the clip above your post. You really think Blunsdon is a better race track? LOL! Really Gavan you are out of control with your postings. Where have I said Poole is one of the best prepared tracks in the country? You are lying and making things up to suit your posts. Only one person who lies too suit. I will wait for the apology.
Steve Shovlar
Hope they don't hang around with parades etc tonight and start the first race at 7.30 on the dot. The rain is coming in and when it arrives it isn't going away in a rush.
lionheart
You really have to feel sorry for the Brummies. They are on a hiding to nothing. If Poole don't notch up at least 60 points there is something wrong somewhere.

Hopefully when Shovlar comes back from the meeting he will offer up the apology. Guess he is just ignoring stuff that shows him up as the hypocrite he is.

A ORLOV
BBCwm mentioned there was a bookie at the track, or just outside offering odds for the meeting, was this SS getting his entrance money.
