brandonbee48
And the delay is for ??? Miserable few days here- peeing it down all over. as it is right now. One place in Florida- Pensacola had 24" of rain in 24 hours. Beware of the deluge crossing the Atlantic Heat 3 was a good "two races in one" Shame that Darcy is missing, though totally understandable. Could have been close with him, though the Poles all round strength would probably have seen them through anyway.

brandonbee48
For what it's worth Sopcast is up and running nicely. Take your pick. Bit of a surprise there, but it keeps the score respectable. Gollob puffing at the back.

brandonbee48
Bit late I know but this is a superb stream.http://mecz.info/viewpage.php?page_id=2 All credit to the Poles for putting this on. I've seen a lot less entertaining meetings and the more international team events we get the better. Sighing remembering the USA-England series in the 70's and 80s. Looks quite a nice set up in Ostrow, pity we didn`t see more of the start girls. Heat 15 the last race is nominated.
brandonbee48
Man of the Match- Davey Watt- for gut-busting effort for his team . Well done cobber! smod
Is this "test" another of the Polish OneSport campaign to screw the rest of world speedway with their own events, or is it a "real" FIM-approved international?
Bavarian
Who says that international test matches have no appeal to the public? If the BSPA would try a little bit harded these could be the gems of the British season. But sending Premier League teams (GB v AUS) out, isn't the same as having the best on track, isn't it? This was a very enjoyable meeting between Poland and Australia tonight. The Poles were handsome winners, always the favorites with Gollob and Hampel in the team, and the Aussies minus Darcy Ward. There was good competitive racing, and yet still a friendly atmosphere prevailed. And it was an excellent crowd in attendance at this second division track Ostrow. Every speedway nation should do one or two of these international tests each year. This would bring a little more colour into the rather dull and deserted international teams' speedway calendar. I'd love to see a Denmark v Poland test match next year.
A ORLOV
Used to love going to the internationals we had, But since the GPs we do not have them anymore. They do have a few, under 21 or 23 but bring back the full ones, even if it is one 3 match series per year.
