Tsunami
Looking at the photo - the decision to call the Meeting off was the correct one. I don't want to see Riders hurt riding a Track that, even with the water taken off, would be VERY soggy. There was more water lying on top and in the air fence. Fromafar
so that's where Billy the Bowser went ,thought I saw Peter Waite at Berwick last night. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â That's a helluva tactical withdrawal.

HadrianDog
Â Moving on to our next match I see that Glasgow have just turned over Peterborough. I know that Fisher was missing, but it does surely show some cracks in their team. Unless the Tigers have turned a corner of course.

The White Knight
What are you on about Eddie. Newcastle didn't have an Air Fence two Seasons ago. You can see some of it lying beside the Safety Fence. Â Puzzled Sunderland.
HadrianDog
Â Dunno if Triple H is a Diamonds fan, but if he is you must forgive he/she as if you remember 2011 is the year we all want to forget. Death and multiple critical injuries and all that.

HadrianDog
Sorry but I was just trying to give Triple an out for forgetting who were 2011 champions. I have clearly re-kindled sad memories which was not my intention. The apology should be mine. Edited April 27, 2014 by HadrianDog

The White Knight
Glad it was off... I told it was a sell out when I tried to book tickets today Let's hope that the Grandstand is open when they decide to run the Fixture. It would allow even more people in. Â On the plus side for me personally - I then wouldn't have to go dashing down to the front so as I could see. (dashing may be a slight exaggeration ) As lots of folk who usually are in the Grandstand are congregated by the picnic tables. This is NOT a complaint - we need as many people to come to the Speedway as possible.
HadrianDog
Can I say that personally, seeing the exposed underside of the terraces has been a revelation. If only those paint daubs and graffiti could talk. In which era were they made and which riders of the past knew those long forgotten scrawlers. Even having to stand out there with half a view of the racing has in some small way been recompensed.
DIAMONDS
1. Kim Nilsson 8.63 2. Lewis Kerr 5.94 3. Stuart Robson 7.20 4. Anton Rosen 6.93 5. Jacob Thorsell 7.68 6.
