westhamboy66
Garrity seems to be cutting the mustard in the Elite. Maybe it should be asked what Rye can do for the rider not what the rider can do for Rye. Maybe he just needs a bit of TLC or is he a square peg in a round hole at Hoddesdon ?If Jason Garrity got anymore TLC from Len Silver he'd be in nappies as for being a square peg in a round hole i suggest that will be the case wherever he goes. I remember some warning about him from Belle Vue supporters who predicted just what is happening now. As for cutting the mustard in the EL so he should riding against mainly NL riders. The draft is a nonsense and all it has done is ruin the PL with the need for guests left right and centreGood to see Olly Allen firing tonight. Although as Statman said to me tonight, his invitation to take Edward Kennett for a drink in the Oak Tree clubhouse in Heat 11 came a few heats too early! Earned Olly a word in his ear from Ref Dave Robinson about use of elbows etc!How disappointing were the Rockets? 9 times New Zealand champion Jason Bunyan was a pale shadow of the rider I remember. Kennett flattered to deceive and Jason Garrity struggled all night. The Rebels are shaping up to a decent looking side. Todd Kurtz will drop down to reserve with Charles Wright replacing him in the new green sheet averages. For me Jason Bunyan has never been anymore than a poor second string since arriving at Rye, yes he's had injuries but he's only in the side as a cheap option. Funny with Olly rarely did we see that sort of fight from him last season. Uncle Len needs to bring Sundstrom home. Linus needs to revitalise his career and what better way to do it, His average is high at 11.95 but I think it's much better value than Kennett on 10.42 and Linus wouldn't turn down the chance to ride for the Raiders, once a Raider, always a Raider I have to laugh...i doubt it's any coincidence that Lykke, Mellgren, Aspgren were all left out of the side this year, high travel costing foreign riders replaced by English riders who came free. Given that example i doubt Linus would come into the plans plus it's not Edward that needs replacing . Doing away with the travel expenses has probably paid for the airfence but at the detriment to the team. At least Len didn't go cap in hand to the supporters for the airfence cost but it has written the season off before it's really started. Shadders
Garrity seems to be cutting the mustard in the Elite.Against the likes of Perry, Clegg & Sarjeant, big deal! Elite League? It's really anything but Elite. A couple of world class riders mixed in with journeymen, veterans, second & third rate foreigners, young British prospects and a few NL wobblers. Racin Jason 72
I agree shadders. Ben Morley got his first ever maximum last night. In the elite league !!!! Yet has not got a premier league place. Next season the premier league will be much stronger when king Nicholls etc drop down as their averages will allow it due to the new el race format. Falcon Hammer
I think Jason Garrity is missing the guidence of Michael Lee. Jason's average shot-up when Michael started helping him. Let's hope the two of them can team up again this season. Jason has got the talent and I don't want to see him waste it

EL third heat leaders seem to have the worst of the deal in the new EL race format , while second strings have their averages falsely inflated . It's a shambles , but could open that door to the likes of Scott Nicholls

DragonsDen
........... At least Len didn't go cap in hand to the supporters for the airfence cost but it has written the season off before it's really started. Most or even maybe all of the cost of the airfence will be covered by the landfill on the bends!
Najjer
To be fair to Garritty he looked as though he was riding the nuts off the bike, but the bike seemed to be letting him down - although that didn't stop him from being completely reckless at times! What has happened to the once superb at the OTA Jason Bunyan? He was about half the track behind everyone by the time his 3 races finished! Kennett looked half decent until Allen took him to the fence in heat 11 and looked uninterested after that. Fair shout to Luke Bowen who gave it a pretty good go too! For Somerset Brady, Pontus, Olly and Josh were all superb, with more valuable points from Charles Wright who since the tail end of last year has been an inspired signing for us. Starke continues to impress and whilst Todd looked far from being quick, paid 8 wasn't a bad return at all!
Paulco
What has happened to the once superb at the OTA Jason Bunyan? Was thinking that myself when i looked at the scorecard . Former PL Pairs winner at the OTA , and i remember him being a very good guest for Glasgow one night there too . Sad to see .

I actually thought Garrity' s bike was gripping and firing him out of the starts pretty well. However, he seemed to go backwards as the race progressed.
