Berwick V Newcastle 26/4/14 Pl

Recommended Posts

An impatient teenager who has only seen good times for his club no doubt!

You have Lewis Rose in his 1st proper PL season... Lewis Kerr in top 5 in his 2nd proper PL season... Rosen starting his first FULL season...

Get used to not having things go your way once in a while!

And arson_fire... Had away and bite my shee-ite :approve:

That is true :D

Yes that's why the rest of the team needs to be stronger to cope with these facts

So your telling me if your club was struggling you wouldn't be bothered because things don't go your way all the time, you wouldn't moan would you? :D

We have six of the same riders that rode for us last season

Plus I know they should be given time but I'm just an impatient teenager

And look what you did with six of the seven, I agree with you that Newcastle haven't exactly started the season how you, and every other Diamonds fan would've wanted, but the Newcastle promotion have a history of getting the best of the best of their riders, I`m sure words will have been said and George English will be looking for a better performance come Tuesday.

If riders need to be moved on then I`m sure the promotion wont be found wanting, though at the minute its difficult to see where there's any better riders out there waiting to come in, Newcastle being a Sunday track it makes it all the more harder to attract riders who already have contracts in Poland.

Yes we swapped Richie Worrall with, no offence to the kid, Lewis Rose.

I think that might have weakened us a little.

We can still make some minor changes which might actually be the right thing for the club.

Edit: I can't believe I just called him a kid when he is 8 years older than me

My club have struggled quite a lot in recent seasons without me dramatically moaning ... We've all had the odd frustrated moan But i wouldnt be a supporter if i Didnt... We've had drubbings at home and I've witnessed 69-25 scores away... Yeah, I get frustrated but to put it politely, I gave them ever so slightly longer than 10 (or however many meetings you've had).. ... It's a marathon, not a sprint!

I just get the feeling you have had too much of a good thing if you've not been going too long

I don't feel that I'm putting it impolitely am I?

Plus some of the riders have had 3 seasons to prove themselves and they have not really done that consistently, even if I do love them :P

You don't need to moan, the rest of us more than make up for it. ;)

Robin Aspegren

Cory Gathercole

Charle Gjedde

Pretty sure Gathercole has retired and Gjedde definitely has.

More suggestions just to annoy everyone :P

:o NOO Charlie Gjedde!!!!! He won the first ever speedway race I saw :( Didn't know he retired

think Gjedde picked up a nasty back injury which caused him to retire from the sport.

Tight first bend, Henry leading, Bellego chasing hard. Henry makes a mistake

Bellego swoops wide

Henry blocks the Frenchman's advance

After that spread out

Agree with that...

Pretty much spot on!

Heppy asked me a question on Sat 'Were we good, or were they poor'.

Although Berwick rode a lot better, Newcastle were poor on Saturday. I placed Newcastle in my top 4, certainly top 6, but that was a poor performance from them, I am pretty sure that George will lick them into shape, he always does.

Don't like to see what happened with David & Kevin on Sat, certainly not in front of the fans, but strengthens the arguament fo moving the middle 4 around, have to agree with Screm's line up still leaves a stronger rider in each line up,

I agree they were poor.I would have Kus at 2 and Bellego at 3.IMO Kevin was out of order to "discuss "on track as he did.Bellego is so much faster than him why should he sit behind he is there to entertain and felt he could win the race.Bellego is a racer .Entertainment wise Sat was poor ,thought the track was excellent .
