Bagpuss
There must be a better option for Belle Vue than Ben Reade.

maneacat
There must be a better option for Belle Vue than Ben Reade. Having watched him ride for Plymouth at the EoES recently the thought crossed my mind at that time that the EL was definitely a step too far at present - and I am sure he is not the only one. semion
Cant see Poole dropping Smart. Middlo and Ford apparently can get the best out of any rider. So It would be a bit early for them to admit defeat on Smart.
david2905
Bound to be Smart, Birmingham didn't pick him despite being an asset for a good reason, not the guys fault, but he shoulden't have been in the draft tbh, PL reserve or NL heatleader is as far as he has progressed in several seasons. John Leslie
Isn't Lee Smart making his farewell appearance tonight? Won't be in the next Poole match.
MrMungo
The BV website has TBC in Smart's place in the meeting preview for Monday night.

semion
Who is on the cards to replace Smart ? Shame that even the great Middlo couldnt get anything out of Smart. I thought he prided himself on being able to get the best out of a rider.
John Leslie
Who is on the cards to replace Smart ?They'll probably put out some story saying it was Smart's decision to step down, and they'll hand pick guests from other teams on a horses for courses basis.
semion
Will the BSPA allow that for 28 days, when there is the balance of the draft list still to select from ?
stevebrum
Same old Poole.... Its not like its any surprise is it. Everyone was saying that Smart would be dropped at the first opportunity the minute he got picked. Poole never mess about when they are looking to strengthen up. Little reward unless you are doing your job by MF.
Najjer
There must be a better option for Belle Vue than Ben Reade. He is so far out of his depth, even at Premier League level.

Maybe it will be Smart's decision - can't imagine he's enjoying it.

Crazy robin
Maybe it will be Smart's decision - can't imagine he's enjoying it. I can't imagine a lot of the lesser reserves are really enjoying it that much either as well as it must be destroying their confidence with every meeting.
ProudtobeaBrummie
Our reserves at birmingham are so far tailed off when not against another reserve it's pointless there closer to been lapped than catching a rider....

At least you'll get a good pick next season. But then again I bet teams will suddenly make the decent riders assetts by then.
