Gazc
Slightly boring and predictable response ... Better get used to it they still go on about a sun off at Ashfield several years ago and it didn't even involve them.
LagutaRacingFan
We are coming for Workington, the 2nd leg at EOES makes me very happy. They are mentally fragile under pressure as Somerset showed.
hrhbig
Can anyone tell me what the actual qualifying averages are , I cannot work out how Workingtons is better than Somerset. So someone please put me right on this, thanks

They are mentally fragile under pressure as Somerset showed.  Ah yes mentally fragile eh, is that what you call it now when you need all 4 points to qualify for the Semi Finals away from home and it goes down to needing a heat advantage in heat 15! and end up winning by 10 points How did Peterborough get on at Workington and Glasgow?  Can anyone tell me what the actual qualifying averages are , I cannot work out how Workingtons is better than Somerset. So someone please put me right on this, thanks  Qualification went down to Match points average. Somerset's was 1.75 (14 from 8 meetings) Workington's was 1.83 (11 from 6)

Sun off did involve the monarchs, I actually made it all the way to ashfield. Weather was that nice I didn't even check for a cancellation. I also made it all the way to Peterborough the other week.  Happy with that draw, hopefully get dates sorted soon I hate it when they make these competitions drag out all year

They are mentally fragile under pressure as Somerset showed. you never seem to learn from the comments you make about other teams. you seem to be still enjoying the draw you had at somerset,(45/45. .. you know the one when olly allen had to withdraw and it was left to the reserves to cover the number 5 heatleader rides..regards pressure. you are only putting it on yourselves by talking down workington. good luck in the semis.. cos thats as far as you are going to get... Â how did you do against scunny then.. doh Edited May 21, 2014 by jenga

Well, in my mind, Workington's mentality isn't in question... We'll see just how Peterborough's is when they need to hold a slender lad at Scunthorpe in the KO Cup!!! Peterborough are vulnerable at home from teams that attack them - the successes there this season are Fish, Blackbird and Greenwood. The rest are hit and miss at the best of times so over two legs, Workington should have enough in the tank to go through.  If we can dispose of Sheffield (which won't be easy), then i'd say an Edinburgh vs Workington tie is worthy of being a final... Both got to get there but it'll be a cracker if and when we do... Fromafar
Just save fixture congestion and missing riders (in Workingtons case this is a major problem IMO ) and give Monarchs the Trophy.
jenga
workingtons fixture list should all be sorted. put down as RESERVED fixtures on saturdays. as all clubs should have done. the only thig you have to look out for is rearranged fixtures(rain offs, health and safety issues and sun offs) as long as your teams fixture was in before the doubleing up team, youre sorted. Agree with all that Scunny certainly played their part in a good meeting last night, some good racing was on show, and that's why i go to the Showground... No the Edinburgh sun off was long before that , but to them it's still fresh in the memory . They still harp on about Buster Chapman's alleged heart attack in 2003 . Pretty sure the Edinburgh sun -off was 2007 , no wonder it has slipped your memory ...................................not theirs though Edited May 21, 2014 by Paulco
