racers and royals
With tonight`s match remaining to complete the regular season the league table after last night looks like this1 Esbjerg p14 pts 222 Holsted p13 pts 213 Region Varde p14 pts 194 Munkebo p14 pts 185 Holstebo p14 pts 166 Slangerup p13 pts 15So tonight has importance for both teams-nothing less than a win for Slangerup will do whereas a win for Holsted will secure top spot and home venue for the final (4 teams match.)Teams-courtesy of Holsted website Holsted1. Martin Vaculik (A)2. Patrick Hougaard ( 3. Rasmus Jensen ( 4. Adrian Gomolski ©5. Tommy Pedersen (D) Slangerup1. Leon Madsen (A)2. Kenneth Kruse Hansen ( 3. Mikkel Michelsen ( 4. Jesper Søgaard (D)5. Kenni Nissen © If I am reading the rules right the points carried into the super final are top of league 4pts runners-up 2 pts 3rd 1pt and then points are for winning super-final winner 4 2nd 3 3rd 2 Holsted website are saying that Slangerup cannot reach final whatever happens tonight. brandonbee48
The church bells will be silent in Denmark today since all the "ringers" are at the speedway. Courtesy of our good friend Ghostwalker, we can also watch an Allsvenskan live stream here. http://www.malmotv.se/live-sections/live/index.1.html Problem is they overlap, so "multitasking" skills are required. Regards. Alan. Presenter "Anders Brandstrup" has eaten all the pies. Both streams are working well and the sun is shining all over Europe- well at least in Scandanavia. brandonbee48
I was going to say that Vaculik would go through the card unbeaten and then the mighty Leon does the business. Ugh. That was a nasty one in heat 8. Fingers crossed and again thank god for air fences.

Hope he gets up
brandonbee48
Slangerup have done well to hold it so close after 9 heats but the loss (I presume) of Michelsen will catch up with them I feel. Swedish match close too after 7. Gnistorna 22 Ornarna

And multi-tasking. By the way, I love this track- big blaster! The training track inside is bigger than a few UK tracks.

brandonbee48
I bet that you are enjoying the multiple sunsets? Middle of the afternoon here on a hot day, so it might fire up a golden sunset- but ours aren't nearly as good as yours. In the Swedish meeting at least the air fence came off worst and the rider seems okay. What a bugger for Slangerup. On a 5-1, then Madsen's bike goes and the rider behind can't help but plough into him. Sport can be cruel sometimes.
Ghostwalker
Gnistorna vs. Örnarna have delay due to repairs being done to the airfence. It was Jacob Thorssell that had a fall be has escaped without injuries Örnarna currently have a lead with 30-24..
pandorum
I think Vaculik should have been excluded there as the cause of the stoppage. Madsen had packed in and was not bothering anyone when Martin smashed into him. Should have gone to Specsavers martin Glad everyone is OK Nicki P doing a rather strange erotic dance in the pits. Who would have expected THAT! Edited September 4, 2014 by pandorum
