pandorum
Agree with Alan a lot better than I expected. The lads are having a go which is all you can ask. The crowd deserve it after sitting there for God knows how long.

brandonbee48
Under the Danish format heat 11 always seems like a gift 5-1 to the home team. As thus it is tonight.
pandorum
musehullet seems to be some sort of restaurant. http://web.stagram.com/tag/musehullet Maybe they do fish and chips Under the Danish format heat 11 always seems like a gift 5-1 to the home team. As thus it is tonight. I like the Danish format. #10 and #11 pit the kids against the top men. All part of the learning curve. The top men don't always win though mate Sogaard has impressed me tonight he has improved a lot since last year.
brandonbee48
Considering the amount of rain they obviously had, it has been decent entertainment. As soon as its over i'm going to have some fish and chips in my local Musehullet.
pandorum
14 heats in less than 90 minutes. (obviously I am hoping #13 and #14 will happen quickly) Amazing for Denmark as it usually takes about 6 hours Agree with Alan it has been a good meeting considering the conditions Edited June 25, 2014 by pandorum
brandonbee48
3 nice pieces of Danish tottie in sailor hats in that crowd shot.
pandorum
Why can't they do that every week? MJ too scared about being shown up by Sogaard again. See you gents at the weekend
brandonbee48
Gomolski by far the standout rider tonight. Really attacked the track. Take care guys and thanks for the company. Off to Philadelphia for the weekend so speedway will probably take a back seat. Enjoy folks. Alan.

pandorum
Next live action is Wednesday 2nd July Fjelsted v Esjberg at 5.30 pm uk time. Â http://kanalsport.dk/ Will miss that one due to being drunk in Paris for the anniversary of Jim Morrison's death Might catch a rerun the week after as I have noticed on the schedule they do quite a few reruns of the speedway. Kanal do a great job not only for Danish speedway but fans in general with superb streams and it was great they waited an hour and a half for last nights meeting which was pretty good considering. Â They are producing a good crop of youngsters over in Denmark and it's a pity that we have not learned from that and given our fast trackers a chance to ride against heat leaders rather than wrapping them in cotton wool with protected heats. The way the Danes do it is very impressive as a format giving young talent the shock of racing against NKI or Nicki P and the chance to learn from that. Obviously they are light years ahead of us in terms of development but there are lessons to be learned from the top leagues for our sad little enterprise that might help a dying product breathe a little better. Sadly we are hampered by little or no vision from those who run our speedway so nothing will happen. We use junior development as a way to save money other countries have junior development at the core of their system little wonder we have none of our so called up and coming talent riding regularly in any of the important leagues. I exclude lambert as he is a product of the German league.
topsoil
Getting some decent crowds at Danish league meetings this season. Does anybody know the reasons for this? General increase in interest in the sport or a result of promotions such as reduced admission prices? Wondering if the promoters in this country could take lessens. Ghostwalker
I have read that the Danish league have almost doubled their attendance the past 5 years. From about 950 in -09 to about 1650 this season. Also it seems that the system with A,B,C and D riders categories are a bit unpopular by some teams. Ghostwalker
Esbjerg team manager says that they have not lost any of the 7 times last season and the 3 times this year that they have used Artem Laguta instead if NKI.
