Mark
I've never thought on to look but i wonder what sort of viewing figures the Danish speedway gets on Kanal Sport. Most people would be travelling home from work or not settled in when the meeting starts. Mind you they get reasonable crowds although i dare say they may mostly be local as not much time for away fans to travel unless they take the day or afternoon off work. There is a 2hr time difference so 5.30 UK is 7.30 Danish time.

You also have to remember that Denmark is a relatively small Country. Google suggests that it's a 48 minute drive from Fjelsted to Holsted, so you could have finished work at 17:30 and still had plenty time to get from Fjelsted to the meeting for the 18:30 start. There is a 2hr time difference so 5.30 UK is 7.30 Danish time.Reasonably sure it's only a 1 hour time difference and the meeting tonight started at 18:30 local time, but could be wrong. EDIT - Made a right mess of that Edited May 28, 2014 by HenryW

Ghostwalker
Wrong-1 hour yeah RR is correct. UK is currently on BST which is UTC+1, Denmark (and most of central+western Europe) are on CEST (UTC+2). Time in CEST time zone is now 20.00. manchesterpaul
You also have to remember that Denmark is a relatively small Country. Yeah i should have taken that into account as when i looked at the weather radar i noticed several tracks grouped relatively near each other. Also i had forgotten the one hour time difference too, it was just idle musing. yeah RR is correct. WRONG! it's 20:02 Even more wrong now as it's 20:03 Gee how many false starts now......getting on to Guinness Book of Records stuff.
