Catch Me If You Can
it is true though, I've spent many a Saturday evening analysing the racing at Berwick. Granted good races in 14 and 15 but there were huge gaps between the riders in the early-middle part of last weeks meeting. Home win tonight, interesting to see how we do at Derwent Park against Workington who are not in great form at present. Yes If they could get corners near pitch corner flags widened and straights it would be super track but while football club there that I imagine would never happen. I expect Howarth to be a major threat tonight and also Josh. Howarth was excellent in World Under 21 meeting last year and just missed top three slot. bigeddiechek
A lot of fishing recently but no bites. I think folk have got a bit bored with the Robin and Callum double act. Had its day, I think.
mythman666
Howarth usually rides Berwick very well and could get a few points tonight. I am bringing along a few guys from work to hospitality tonight so I am pleased the weather is playing ball!

Lord Lucan
Considering nearly all of our riders, (except Mason), were on duty for other teams all over the country yesterday, it was nice to see we have no injuries to worry about today!! Got some good scores together so hoping that will continue tonight, still hopeful for a win by a couple of points!!
spittalbandit
decent meeting. steen jensen finally showing what he can do. thought when we went six points down that was it but credit to the team they dug in and turned it round.
bigeddiechek
I'm looking forwards to seeing further improvement from Steen. He's pretty exciting to watch. I got that wrong, he's not pretty exciting: he's very exciting! Slow first half of the meeting, superb second half. Great gutsy win for The Bandits!

Great gutsy win for The Bandits! Make that last two heats as last week. Gutsy effort by some others need to take a look at themselves at least Jensen showing improvement week on week. emilali
Really enjoyed that meeting, great effort from Berwick to comr back after going 6 down. Jensen was absolutely superb, great value and good to see a guy like that who gives absolutely everything he has, think Doolan and Kus need to take a look at him and do the same. Vissing great again, as was Mr dependable Weathers, fantastic heat 15 to secure the win. Really enjoyable meeting, fingers crossed Bellego is ok.

mikebaker
Bandits fans realising what a total enigma Kus is, and we are only a month into the new season. We had 3 seasons of him, and all the hype that he came with. Enjoy the frustration.
Lord Lucan
Disappointing result, seems like that old ht15 curse is back again?? Some below par performances from too many riders causing us the problems tonight, tending to think tho that Comets have given this particular tournament up and are just playing out the remainder of the matches? Will be an interesting match up tomorrow, looking forward to seeing how Berwick go around our place, you appear to have a few DP performers in the ranks so hopefully they will turn up and give a good account!! havenagotahope
Let put it clearly if all the Bandits fans have to look forward to each season is FIM meeting it won't wash as has been said there are two riders that need to take a long hard look at themselves.
comet49
Just got back from Berwick, good second half to the meeting and Jensen looks a good acquistion for Berwick. Nothing to do with Howarth leading a Comets 4-2 at the time but how can a referee wait 'til one lap has been completed and put the lights on for an unsatisfactory start? It would have looked strange if a rider had come off on bends 3 & 4 and an unsat start had been called with all 4 back. Also by letting riders race on full pelt he's putting them at risk of crashing and being injured. Hope both Mason and Bellago are ok for tomorrow. You obviously don't keep up to speed with the Worky comments who would happily dispense with 50% of their team.

Totally agree if he does not gate not interested ;Jensen good value hope its not a one off another disappointing night for Liam as well for the Comets Howarth was very disappointing after all the hype on here with Josh team riding him home for his only points.Great heat 15 Claus and Matty pulling it out of the fire.Hope David is okay presume Mason is after continuing last night.Workington will need to up their efforts to go on and win the league as many predicted.Safe meeting tonight for both teams with a home win likely
screm
Largely unimpressive first half of the meeting with virtually no passing and from the gate racing, that changed for the second half of the meeting with inparticularly Jensen lighting up Shielfield with a thrilling last to first in Ht8. Workington with two 5-1s in Hts 10 & 11 looked to have a winning lead but Berwick set up a thrilling Ht15 with Vissing and Wethers being the Bandits hero`s, though Vissing might have got away with a jump start in the re-run of the last race having already been warned for jumping the start in the first running. A welcome win but you still get the feeling there`s parts of the team that are under performing, if Berwick are to do anything in the PL this season they will need a fully functioning team. Nobody mentioning how good a signing Vissing is turning out to be? What a good signing Vissing is turning out to be.
