The White Knight
Getting beat off a novice is shocking like... Even the texter on updates site says he's rubbish.... We could have won this aswell Yes - Matt Williamson's ONLY Point came by beating Lindgren in Heat 11. Definitely not good enough for a Number One. I have been consistent in my opinion since before Christmas. WELL DONE!!! to Stuart Robson and Anton Rosen in Heat 15. Robbo has had a great Meeting. Even a small improvement in Lindgren's normal away performance could have got us a win in this Meeting. Bagpuss
Why no Douglas in heat 15? Well done to the Diamonds for fighting back and having their point.

Say it 1, 2 or 3 times, but 123 times is a bit much.

The bottom line here is surely that until the new averages come out and relegate him, Lingren IS the no1 and even if he is riding like a number two {and I don't mean in a numerical sense}, while we can criticise him, we are at the moment forced to accept it.

A lad making his PL debut at16 years of age was paid for more points. Edited April 18, 2014 by Arson fire
StevePark
so you agree then :) thanks for clearing that up No, I don't agree with him! What I'm saying is TWK is getting a bit boring with his continuation about his opinion about Ludvig.
clambo71
Exactly my opinion also. If someone had created a system where in any way shape or form it disadvantaged the so called EL, it would never have seen the light of day. But on the other foot, it seems all things are possible. Surely some form of system could have been introduced to circumvent this Good Friday cock-up. Well the light of day shone through up to the end of the 2013 season.PL clubs were given priority over EL clubs claim on their own assets. Now you know how EL fans felt up to this season. It should not be long before some of the travelling fans reach home and we get a true viewers opinion of the teams' showing.

eric i
These afternoon meetings are doing little for Scunthorpe's home track advantage. The 2nd half of meetings when the track dries out and becomes slick and dusty we seem to lose our home advantage, I think Birks said something similar in the star. Does anyone else think Matt Williamson is not quite ready for premier league?

Tsunami
He must be - he beat the opposition's Number One. So that's confirmed again that he is our Number 1.
The White Knight
So what part of "no, I don't agree with him" do you not understand? OK - so you don't agree with me - that's your privilege. You are arguing from a very weak position though. We must agree to differ.

The White Knight
So that's confirmed again that he is our Number 1. I never said he wasn't - so I don't get your point. My problem is that he IS our Number One. I KNOW he has to be - but at the moment he is costing us League Points all over the place.

I KNOW he has to be - but at the moment he is costing us League Points all over the place. You have been in denial since Xmas that he was our number 1, due to the highest average being number 1. It is only in the last few weeks you have agreed with me, and others, being technically right about the qualification for a number 1, but you seem to lapse from that on a regular basis, hence the reason why others saying "boring, give it a rest". Not being pedantic are you. Edited April 18, 2014 by Tsunami
Arson fire
It's the make up of the team that forces him to ride at number 1... Not his fault really, but no matter where he rides he has to be more consistent and pull his finger out, especially on the road. Our team isn't that strong where we have a consistent big hitter to be able to carry him, or anyone really... Nor should he be above criticism... I'm sure he will be working on whatever is wrong and I'd hope if it doesn't improve I'd trust our promotion will sort it out for the benefit of the team, the season and the fans.

Steve, he's entitled to voice his opinion as he is a paying punter! And as I know and have seen first hand at times with Newcastle you have to keep repeating yourself so you get heard!
