westhamboy66
Decent win i suppose but the score really flattered Ipswich. Its a long time since Rye had such a committed No1 and his efforts in heat 15 said it all. If Garrity does get back on song then we are one rider short of an ok team. Sadly Simon is going backwards i saw a lot of James Sargeant last year and he impressed me. If he's available i would jump at having him as i think one thing is certain he would be a better rider by the end of the season. As for Ipswich if Tungate and Heeps performed anywhere near their ability then they would be a pretty decent side.
CardinalSin
Hes spot on though. Said before the season i had no idea why anyone rated Ipswich and so far ive been proved right. Risager is awful He isn't "awful" at all, he is what he is but there are far more "awful" riders in this league than Risager. Â Risager has actually been one of our better riders so far this season.
Shadders
Much better today. The riders looked more committed. Excellent from Luke, flying in heat 3. Edwards commitment on an obviously wet & greasy track in heat 15 demands huge respect. I'd be interested to read views on the Garrity/Ellis incident. At first I thought it was 2 riders giving it 100%, but those around me said Jason deliberately brought Ellis down. Happy to say Adam managed to get off the bike before it crashed into the fence, although it did affect him in his next race. Still a decent win and hopefully some confidence to take down to Somerset on Friday, but I'm not holding out any hope Edited April 20, 2014 by Shadders
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Ok,just that last year it was 32 matches for June, 29 July, 26 August and finally 24 for Septemberwas 24 at the end of last year but nothing in 2014 regs as has been nentioned!Nothing in the regs either as to how the best place runner up will be decided(average points has been suggesred on here)
Icicle
As usual, the rules are as clear as mud!
Rockets
We are so hard on our teams. For Ipswich. If you want to give us heeps or run gate feel free. You are nt far away away from being a good team. Would you prefer to be challenging for the LC or the PL ? For Rye we need to be patient too. Edward gives 100% as was shown by him in hear 15. Steve B and Luke are doing all and more that could be asked of them. Tress again settling in nicely. Jason b won't get any better but slowly settling into the season. I think we all know Simons time is up but do we bring in Ben now or wait till Eddie has got a new average then pick a rider on a higher average. Three things about today. Rye could do with a gripper racing track but weather prohibited that. Same for both teams though bearing in mind the ongoing rain which hit shortly after the finish. Two the quite sublime start of heat 13. A joy to watch. Third the garrity incident. Ref got it horribly wrong. JG went around Ellis and was half a wheel in front It seemed Ellis not unfairly moved out and JG from a self preserving perspective elbowed Ellis to the left. Thankfully no one injured and a true racing incident but it shows the shortcomings of the ref - or the rules whereby true racing incidents have to show one rider penalised. Poor crowd but that may have much to do whether the meeting was on or not x
Baldyman
So its again stated that Cameron wrist isn't a problem, so it's just his confidence or his gating has deserted him again
CardinalSin
So its again stated that Cameron wrist isn't a problem Apart from at Plymouth.. Â Its either a problem or it isn't so not exactly sure what Louis is trying to say here. Â If there is no problem with the wrist, then this is a major crash in form from the rider we saw last year. Ben91
Kennett will get a new average in the green sheets I believe, should give us an extra point at least to play with. That gives us at least 5 points to use replacing Lambert. Get Stefan Nielsen in, good round Rye and has potential. Â Having Lambert in the team is like leaving your handbrake on driving along the motorway.
Rockets
Ben do you know when the green sheets come out - presumably before our first league fixture?
Rockets
Thanks had enough. By my reckoning Eddie will have done four home and away by the 1 st. Shame we can't include his scores for Birmingham . Showed his class yesterday in heat 13 and bravery in heat 15. If you read this mate welcome back Eddie. tone deaf
He isn't "awful" at all, he is what he is but there are far more "awful" riders in this league than Risager. Â Risager has actually been one of our better riders so far this season. Very good on occasion & terrible on others. Nothing against him but personally I would prefer a rider who scores 7 or 8 consistently than 14 in one meeting & 3 in the next.

Arch Stanton
Has rohan scored 14 for ipswich yet this season? What has that got to do with it? The point is that Rohan Tungate hasn't proved anything yet to suggest he's anything but an inconsistent 7 point PL man but his name is not Morten Risager so he gets a free ride. Â I get a little sick of the anti Risager stuff on here. When he has a good meeting he hardly gets a mention, when he has a stinker the "crap" Risager stuff comes out and the finger is pointed, despite other members of the side scoring even less. Â It's like the "rotten apple" guff that came out last year and that he was a "billy big balls" and bad for team spirit as he was apparently causing rifts in the camp. Â And yet we've had Ritchie Hawkins, and Adam Ellis' father state that this year the team spirit was "awesome" and the best it's been.
Baldyman
I said before the season started that this was the season to see if rohan is ever going to make a top world class rider, and so far, even though a lot of money has been invested in his equipment, it doesn't look like he is going to improve again. Okay its early days, but so far his average has dropped, so maybe he is going to be only a 7 point premier rider. So its the same as morten, but I guess morten gets more stick because of his vast experience. Just out of interest, you seem to always stick up for morten, why is that? Are you a sponsor or relative or something, or maybe just a rider that you like?
